  1. Past hour
  2. Little Caesars Areana - Detroit, MI Watch: NBC Regular season series 2-2
  3. Lee was my dark horse choice to come north with the team. He was pretty clearly in over his head during this particular game. We’ll see how he does next time.
  4. Are we now done with the Golden State as superior team masquerade? And by we, I don't mean folks in this forum.
  5. His defense did look shaky. I was surprised Lee was called up, I figured it would have been Jung. But, if Lee (RHH) was called up, you're not going to use him vs a LHP? Come on.....
  6. Didn't they used to just chrome plate them? For a fricking lugnut that's gonna last probably 10yrs and by then the rest of the wheel won't look so hot either. IDK - I'm out of the loop now - maybe plating is too much enviroment risk overhead anymore.
  7. Today
  8. Next major deal? Harris doesn't make major deals.
  9. I'm talking about shaky defense at 3rd base. Hinch had several options rather than putting an inexperienced AAA rookie out there. It ended up not mattering much but it very well could have been a disaster. His defense looked very shaky.
  10. Don't quote me on this. But I believe YoutubeTV has NBCSN so you will get game 3 without having Peacock.
  11. Jose Soriano has entered the conversation with Skenes and Skubal. Dazzles again tonight. This has got to be the best 5 game stretch for a pitcher in maybe ever. 32.2 IP 11 H 1 ER 13 BB 39 K 0.22 ERA A solo HR from Drake Baldwin is the only run he’s given up in 5 starts.
  12. Pistons -8.5 for game 1 and -500 for the series. Pretty cheap on the series. So far, only Denver (-350) and NYK (-275) are a cheaper favorite.
  13. I have no idea what you're even talking about.
  14. Better Call Saul is better and I’ll die on that hill. Breaking Bad is about the arc from beginning to end. The character development is unmatched… But BCS on an episode-by-episode basis is just better.
  15. I finished The Pitt season two. Excellent show but dropped down my list a bit at the end. Not a knock on the ending, it was a good season finale. But to stay in BCS/Breaking Bad territory, you have to continue to ascend.
  16. Reminiscent of the old days of catching backhaul feeds via satellite.
  17. Sit on the bench. 1st major league game in Fenway? What could possibly go wrong?
  18. This is exactly what I'm thinking while watching the game. So many people I hate on both sides. But, I put a bet on the Suns, so I guess I'll root for them for the money.
  19. I used to work at a credit union on Chicago road in 1998/1999. Passed by there every day. Used to joke with our operations/maintenance guy about going there for lunch. We never did. Went to Teddys instead. A normal bar
  20. Questioning intentional walks? Yesterday's game was screaming for an intentional walk to the LH Keith to get to the RH Tork. I'm still amazed it wasn't done. Glad, but wondering why...
  21. Tonight is punishment for the good games earlier in the week.
  22. Right. There are very little secrets in baseball. Don’t let nostalgia force you to overpay. These aren’t special players.
  23. Yea, that would be on the engineering drawing with a bunch of what they call GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) to spec that part. They are all suppose to match withing a particular tolerance. These things are a bad design to start. You will never crimp a pretty looking thin gauge chromed part (which is why they do this - pretty - marketing) around a lugnut. The thin metal can't go smaller because of the size of the nut, but will eventuality try to revert to the mean, and expand. But we must satisfy marketing; chrome wheels, chrome nuts, look pretty, sell cars. Their entire function is to keep the wheels from falling off the car.
  24. there's a british sideline reporter? wtf?
