You know what, I don't think Dan Campbell made any major mistakes in Game 1. Going for it on 4th Down so many times - why not? He's trying to see what kind of guys he might have for the future. Far more important than one game.................and unlike Patrcia's 3 season starters, destroyed by the lowly Jets after scoring on the first play (a player he traded for questioning the defensive scheme, by the way), then blowing the big lead to tie Arizona and then last year's Bears fiasco...........We saw the opposite, the team way down didn't quit, they showed some heart there and I think that's the way they'll play for him.

The thing about playing the teams in your own division is that by this time in the season you’re like married couples who know each other‘s moves. Hopefully this team has improved enough to have figured out the White Sox’s moves. Right now I would be pretty happy with a split of the remaining games against this team.

That Colts game looked like the sort that Stafford-led Lions teams would find a way to lose.

I've been stuck on 75 as a base line, but the base line is increasingly looking like 77 or 78. It's really incredible. We just keep waiting for the shoe to drop for this team and it never really does.
