For those of you (like me) who might be disappointed to watch the Pistons slip in the draft lottery standings... I've been looking at re-drafts of the top 4 players from each draft from 2005 until 2018 (I want to make sure we have at least 3 full seasons so I stopped there) and the data is pretty interesting. I've included all the data below if you want to see it, but here are some findings: Of the 56 total players 33% were from picks 1-3 41% of them came from picks 1-4 59% were picked outside of the top 4 20% came from picks 5-10 16% from picks 11 -15 23% from picks 21-48, showing the importance of late first round and early second round picks that some GMs like to give away Never have the top 4 picks wound up being the top 4 players Only 2 times have 3 of the top 4 picks become the top 4 players of that draft 6 times only 2 players were drafted in the top 4 5 times only 1 player was in the top 4 picks Once (in 2013) none of the top 4 players were drafted 1-4 Some data on individual picks... #3 tops the list with 8 players #1 is right behind it, with 7 players Picks #2, #4, and #5 have each yielded 4 of the top 4 players in their draft #8 is the worst. Does the 6/1 invite a chance of Joe Jimenez to enter the game? We need more details like that.

Green has been pretty impressive scoring wise lately but even with him scoring like he has the Rockets are still playing better with him off the court. He's basically living up to what people thought he would be and that is an elite scorer but doesn't bring much else to the table.

Great data and list, it appears that with a couple exceptions like Giannis and Steph you're not going to get yourself a defacto number 1 All NBA guy in the mid to late lottery but you still can get All Star caliber guys. With us hoping that Cade can be our All NBA getting one of those All Star caliber players would be perfectly fine with me.

I'll live with 75 in 5 for young FB pitcher. Sure he should try to get guys out quicker, but it can't become more important that getting them out at all. You don't want to ruin a guy who can give you a solid 6 trying too hard to turn him into someone who gives you 7.

We really need OKC to win against POR at home. That's would lock us into 3rd if we lose out and it's OKC best chance at a win. My concern is not about the odds of getting top 4, it's about the odds of slipping to 6, 7, 8, or even 9th in this draft. I get that there's no clear cut #1 superstar, but I also don't want to be picking 6-9 after all the losing this season.

Just like we all predicted, OKC beats Phoenix. On the overview of the game, CBS Sports usually lists each teams leading scorer along with their picture. They didn't even have a picture of the guy, Olivier Sarr, who lead OKC in scoring. Just a big grayed out picture icon.

It's rare that I would say this to you, but I couldn't disagree more. I'm guessing you don't watch him and probably only see clips pulled out. He pushes discussion, the show isn't about making a quick laugh. Most of the show is a discussion between him and a panel that even if it's a congressman/women, you get more information on their ideas in one show than you would watching a years worth of Sunday morning news shows. He's never 'shifted gears' either. As for all people, i'm sure his views are not the same as they were 20 years ago, but he's always been a progressive democrat. He's currently suffering from the same fate as let's say Cheney and Kinzinger. Cheney and Kinzinger are darlings of the left. But if you're a democrat based on platform policy, you wouldn't really cheer them on. They have one issue they disagree with the GOP on (granted a big one) and their side has turned on them and the left cheers. Maher, for the folks that don't regularly follow him, is the same. Grab an average person that has never watched the show and pick a random show he's done in the last 20 years and they will know he votes straight ticket democratic. But, if he feels the dems are heading a wrong direction, he calls it out. The right pulls the 30 second clip to celebrate him, the left grabs that same clip to say he's no longer a legitimate voice for the left.

Damn Casey screwed with Cade's per game numbers by playing him for like 5 minutes instead of just giving him the night off.
