Couldn't you say that about the Lions too though? If Jones doesn't fumble on the 10 yard line that could have changed the game as well. If the Chiefs don't false start every play or line up incorrectly the game would have been different. If CJGJ doesn't drop the pick. All I'm saying is the Lions had plenty of missed opportunities as well but they won.

The SOLs would have lost that game in the 4th Q. The SOLs wouldn't have gotten the roll-up illegal motion on the Chief's OL when they needed it. Mahomes was just barely surviving the pass rush and forcing balls.

If you get another chance to see the 2 long Gibbs runs, check his finish of each. On the first one, to the L side, he lowers a shoulder and the KC player gets flattened and Gibbs stays up right but ends up out of bounds. On the second one to the R side when it was 1st and 15, he gets 18 and uses his L arm to swat the defender to the ground, again as Gibbs hits the sideline but remains upright. On the actual broadcast you could see that KC player who got swatted look up like WTF. Loved it!

What i remember about Beiker is he made his debut, in fact when I looked it was his only appearance, the day before we left to pick up our first dog from the breeder. Had to drive to Columbus. The talk radio guys were making fun of his name as we were driving down there. We were newly married about about to turn our life upside down by getting a creature we were responsible for 24 hours a day, a boston terrier puppy is great training for kids. The kids were easier!

Another thing I just noticed while watching highlights: The play just before the fake punt was a pretty good play for Goff. All receivers were covered, he rolled out, even retreated to the end zone to buy time, then found Jones coming back to him. If he throw incomplete or just throws it away or even tries to gain a few yards with his feet, then it's 4th and 7... Campbell probably doesn't fake and no TD drive.

Gibbs was breaking tackles and bouncing off of guys...did not expect that.

Couldn't sleep either last night. Ended up rewatching the 1st quarter with NFL+. Their right tackle did not line up incorrectly or false start in the 1st quarter. Hutch really got screwed as the game went on.

It was really encouraging to see Dan Campbell out coach Craig Stadler tonight too. When you can out coach and beat the best coach in the league that is a tip of the cap to Campbell and how he managed the game.
