Why do they keep calling these Proud Boy thugs "law enforcement?" These criminals aren't law enforcement. There were 4 to 6 of these thugs pounding that innocent man into submission before murdering him in cold blood. He was no longer a threat to them, they had already disarmed him. Not only that, but how many real police would it take to handcuff a suspect after taking away any weapons? A single police officer could accomplish this without ever pulling out a weapon. This was/is a simple case of cold blooded murder. And now the Trump administration is sending in more police, it will be martial law by this evening/tomorrow.3 points

I sat on back-to-back series when he was with Erie and he didn't make contact in anything over 92, if memory serves. It wasn't particularly close either. That report was less than flattering when I wrote it up and I heard it from the org when it was published.3 points

If the guy today was killed because he was packing heat, I think that makes a Bill of Rights bingo for ICE.2 points

I just saw another video. Looks like the only thing he was holding in his hand when the Gestapo approached was a cell phone. So why was it okay for Rittenhouse to be carrying around an AR-15 again?2 points

They're happy to take the federal money, though, that VA sends to them. Maybe they should give that money back.2 points

Once again your propaganda is misleading. The 13.8% Repugakins are pushing combines two separate, proposed taxes that would apply to certain high income and investment income, not to everyone's wages. Only very high earners, basically those with incomes over $1 million would face the 10% top marginal rate and only those same high income households and significant investment income would pay the additional 3.8%. Most Virginians will probably see no change at all.2 points

Many decades ago, my much older brother bought a old beater car, in this case a Caddy (maybe late 50s?) and then asked the family to find the gas fill nozzle. 🤔 It was behind the taillight assembly, you pushed on one of the lens circle to flip it up.2 points

It's worth remembering that he'd gladly slander *anyone* if it's in pursuit of his (and this administration's) aims. Just downright immoral people all the way down1 point

Still paying less overall than I was in Oakland Co, Michigan. The weather is better too, except for this weekend. Can't complain. We looked at a few "low tax" areas. Trust me you get what you pay for. I'll pay the little more for a bit of real civilazation, unlike Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida, etc1 point

Why are you so concerned about Virginia. It doesn't affect you, aand we don't want your kind. And judging from what I see from Trumpers on places like NextDoor, they don't want anyone else to move in next to them1 point

At this point, I wouldn't believe DHS if they swore they were telling a lie. And I agree, there's no justification. Even if he did have a gun, once he was immobilized there is no justification for beating, let alone shooting.1 point

I have heard that he did have a gun, but that they disarmed him and THEN beat him up and shot him. So it's still an execution.1 point

The genius doesn't know the difference between weather and climate? If there's a 2 month drought in California and then it rains for one day, does that means droughts are a hoax? Yes, according to his logic.1 point

The Pistons ended up at 7 for 32 from the 3 point line. That pathetic shooting, along with 16 turnovers, cost us any chance to win.1 point

Welcome to a playoff atmosphere. Cade will be trapped. You’ll see zone. You can’t win with just 2s. You can’t start three poor defenders in Duncan, Harris, and Duren. You need to use your challenges better. You need better lineup management. Being first in the East is an awesome accomplishment but if you want to get past the second round you need to make a move before the deadline.1 point
-
Look, we probably weren’t winning this with Cade playing this bad, but also terrible game management by JB to have Robinson, Harris, and Duren closing this game.1 point

He came very close to signing with Atlanta one year. When Lajoie was there. Supposedly they had a press conference planned. Then he’d have been given the Terry Pendleton treatment and made to be the reason they won. His calming and veteran presence would have been hailed.1 point

I would call Chicago and kick the tires on Ayo Dosunmu. He would be a bucket off of the bench and is shooting 45% from three. A below average defender but gives effort. Better coaching and scheme probably gets him to be an average defender. At least good enough where he would not be hunted in the playoffs. He would fit into their TPE so they could just offer draft picks for him. He is unrestricted this summer so all I would give up is this year's 1st and some second round picks. Actually, I would give up LeVert + this year's 1st. But I'm not sure Chicago wants anything to do with LeVert.1 point

when cars were cars and men were men, we didn't need no stinking arrows, you filled you tank from right in th middle, behind your licence plate. (that placement also made it convenient to get incinerated when you were rear-ended, but all in all a small price to pay for your constant confidence at the filling staion.)1 point

Lou was a a compiler, but he was the best compiler in the history of the game! Seriously, 17 years with an OPS over 100 for a middle infielder without ever having without ever having an MVP type season. Nobody else has done that.1 point

Kent was a worse choice than Jones. Jones was questionnable and I wouldn't put him in, but he is perhaps the best defensive outfielder ever - better defensive numbers than Mays. So, at least he's got that. Kent played the same position as Whitaker and was 20 wins behind him in WAR.1 point
