So carpenter loses our last pitch call challenge in the top of the ninth and Dan and Dirks say it's ok and good to use them up but I disagree. Don't you SAVE them for your pitcher in the bottom of the ninth when you are leading 5 to 1 ?2 points

Riley swinging out of his cleats at a ball six inches above the zone is as frustrating as Javy chasing the sweeper.2 points

5-0 Orlando on the offensive glass; 16-10 on the boards deficit; 6 turnovers. Horrible quarter and horrible end to it.1 point

This was the start that was pretty much predictable. Now, the Pistons just have to wake up - much easier to do at home.1 point

A 24.4 K% is fine, especially paired with a 14.0% BB%. He's never gonna be a 20% K%.1 point

I understand it has to happen because of the playin games. But having all the 1's and 2's go on the same day makes for a bad day of basketball.1 point

Just think how many RBI he could have if he cut 25% of his strikeouts. Put. The. Ball. In. Play.1 point

There will be one game this series where Desmond Bane goes crazy for 35+. There will be one game that Desmond Bane is in foul trouble and becomes a minor factor. There will be one game that Desmond Bane will do something stupid and get ejected. Pistons in 31 point

I was just telling someone today that I thought at least a third of MAGA Catholics would peel off from the Church and the Vicar of Christ to follow the Antichrist instead.1 point

They rarely use Suggs to initiate the offense, so I'm fine with Duncan guarding him. I know it isn't exactly a staple of the Pistons defense. But as poor as Orlando shoots, a little zone now and then wouldn't bug me either.1 point

If somebody would have told me that day that someday Porcello would pitch for the Red Six (and win a Cy Young), I would have thought they were crazy. Hey, he's still only 38 years old, give him a call...😅😅1 point

yes, he is a good hitter when he gets going, but he has peaked as a fielder, so he's going to have to hit a lot to retain his value. He is stiff and injury prone and seems like someone who will not age well which is one of the main reasons I think he wouldn't bring much back in a trade.1 point

No, no way. The Pitt is an outstanding show but comparing anything to BB/BCS/Sopranos/The Wire in my book is like comparing a rookie to Babe Ruth, Willie Mays or Sandy Koufax. It's just not fair. I think TV really started to change with one show in 1981 - Hill Street Blues. As far as I can recall that was the first cop show where the cops didn't always get the bad guy and sometimes the cops WERE the bad guys. Maybe intentionally (Cheif Daniels, Sal Benedetto) or screw up with heart in the right placye (J.D.LaRue). Then a couple years later came St. Elsewhere - where the doctors didn't always save the patient (previously the patient ALWAYS got saved). If you were a patient the first season of St. Elsehwere, you needed to update your will. Then TV went to another extreme in the 90s where the bad guys becaume the lead characters and the writers got you to sympathise with them - and that's when TV got really good. To black hat/white hat so much, just a lot of grey, really intense grey. The editing on Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and the Sopranos was as good, if not better, than any major theatrical film. Face it, Breaking Bad was basically a 60 hour movie.1 point

I'm going to wear my new Pistons shirt for the next three days non-stop. 🙂 Have my Pistons' flag in a side window to my house. It will be moved to a front window for the playoffs in about 10 mins.1 point
