So, I wonder what the arrangements would be if the Chargers and Rams are both top seeds for their respective conference championship games? They can’t possibly play the same day in the KroenkeDome, can they?
I was of the opinion that the Pistons should trade down (but not too far) and gain assets. I really liked Mobley, and was hoping they could move down a peg or two (Houston was still rumored to be all in on one of Cunningham/Green).
Strippers? Of note, the former Brenda’s Body Shop (which was not an auto related joint) is now the site of the pizza place on the LF corner. You may be on to something.
13 innings, only 2 Ps used for each team. Sure would love to see pitch counts. Morris faced 40, Honeycutt 36. They went though the lineup 4 full times. Completely different game now.
Look at the starting time, 8:00pm. Was it the Monday night game of the week? And why was it ended in a tie before midnight? Was there a curfew? Why not pick up the remainder of it the next day?
Poor Ricky Peters. He entered the game as a PR and was picked off and that was his contribution.
Gary Jones has been promoted from Toledo manager to Detroit first base coach.
Lloyd McClendon returns to the organization as the manager for Toledo.

Another WAR factoid. Bonds was the 6th pick of the 1st round. His career WAR per bbref was 162.7. The 5 picks before him had an aggregate WAR of 176.0.
They could have dropped the caricature and kept the C.
But then the new C leads to merch and revenue, so I get that keeping the old C wasn't likely to happen.
Just for grins, Sheffield's 10 similarity scores on bbref contains 8 hall of famers, Miguel Cabrera, and Fred McGriff. So that's basically 9 HOFs and a Tom Emansky video, which should also be enshrined.
Maybe too much emphasis is put on the hall of fame as far as career achievements go. Whitaker should be in there ahead of Morris, but that isn't how it turned out.
I found the memorabilia in the building fascinating. I enjoyed the main drag with its different shops and restaurants and small town feel. The plaques didn't really hold as much interest too me as I thought they would.
I don’t think that’s necessarily true. MLBPA dropped early FA proposal according to Passan. Maybe it re-emerges later on, negotiations can be fluid. But I’m not sure either side has the upper hand.
