  1. I think he was getting arm soreness at 3B so they brought him over to 2B to lessen the throws for him...
  2. Sunday night games: Toledo Loses to St. Paul 5-4 Meadows 1-5, double 1 K, .499 OPS Urshela 3-3 all singles but he seems ready to get back to MLB... Flores gave up 4 ER's in 1 inning, 6.04 ERA Erie Wins 7-0 over Richmond Workman 1-4, .896 OPS Lee 3-4, 2 HR's & 5 RBI's, .793 OPS Trei Cruz 2-4, .646 OPS Ya know: Trei Cruz is a SS and he's in Erie... I don't know if that gets us anywhere... he's mostly struggled in the minors and .646 is not "fantastic" or anything.... I'm just saying... He's in the Cruz bloodline so...?) 3. Decided to not be lazy: 8% elderly which could be men or women or a mix... So 8% uncertainty baked into the UN numbers...
  4. Never would have guessed. But... 40+32+20 = 92. What's the missing 8%? (Sorry, I'm being lazy...)
  5. This sounds about right. Now if we could only get this offense to wake up... Or at least a few certain players. Tork opened his eyes today, stretched, yawned, and smacked his 1st HR of the year. Need... More...
  6. Well... This is funny timing on TORK!!!'s 1st HR... But at least it breaks the ice...
  7. Verlander's gonna toss a no-hitter against us...
  8. He double-dipped on a tax deduction... And got caught.
  9. Do you know why Cristian Santana is struggling so much...?

  11. So who is going to sit for Baddoo? Canha, Wenceel, Carpenter...? Certainly not Greene. Or is he just a pinch hitter...? Just thinking out loud here: I'd almost rather call up Dingler and give him two games a week in place of Kelly... Just to expose him to MLB pitching... and to see what he's got...
  12. Erie Game Highlights: https://www.milb.com/erie/video/troy-melton-fans-his-fifth-batter-in-five-scoreless https://www.milb.com/erie/video/trei-cruz-slugs-his-second-homer-of-the-season https://www.milb.com/erie/video/hao-yu-lee-s-four-rbi-game Hmmm... Uncertain why I cannot get the actual video to post...?
  13. Guys... stop complaining. We can either cover for LLM, or sink into the abyss. What's your choice? PS: In games last night: Toledo Lost to St. Paul 3-1: Meadows 2-5, singles, .517 OPS Urshela 1-3, (2nd rehab game I think? .900 OPS) Bigbie 0-3 2K's, .701 OPS Baddoo, 0-3 2K's, .844 OPS Dingler 2-4, single-double, .730 OPS Englert, 2 IP's, 0 H's 1 BB 4 K's, 2.61 ERA Erie Wins 8-0 over Richmond Workman 2-4, 1 BB, 1 double, .934 OPS Lee 2-5, single-double, .696 OPS Melton, 5 IP's, 3 H's 0 BB's 5 K's, 2.88 ERA WM Loses to Ft. 14. That would be good enough. Probably starts out as a punt/kick returner...
  15. Well... He certainly knows how to follow his blockers and set up the defenders in front of his blockers for his moves...
  16. I'm with Sports Freak... He gets at least 3+ years to enact his vision so we can see what he's capable of... so in my mind... That's still 2+ years before I even begin any kind of earnest evaluation. And so far, early returns, in my mind, are highly promising. Organizationally, as well as player acquisition...
  17. Is calling for Harris's head a thing on Twitter? I didn't know that... (I don't use twitter so I wouldn't...)
  18. Not discounting Green at all. He's just an unknown factor at this point...
  19. The only flipside I would say is: If a team is crap and losing 100 games then it's easy to just say "Ain't got the players". And if a team is winning 100+ games nobody cares (mostly) about a manager's decisions because... well, winning. But with a team that's barely scraping by at around .500 and winning or losing games by the thinnest of margins... Makes every decision a manager makes subject to second guessing. I don't normally say anything about a manager's decisions... And losing 100 or so games the past 7 years, right after a spate of years winning 100 or so games... made that easy. Now... I love AJ Hinch... But I'm feeling critical all of a sudden... By the thinnest of margins.
