  1. 6-8 hitters in the order. No excuse to blow this.
  2. More suspense than I expected for a game in which the Tigers have scored 7 runs in a Skubal start.
  3. Castellanos comes up as the tying run at the plate.
  4. The two aces combine for 6 strikeouts in the 1st inning.
  5. As for non-contenders, Pittsburgh and Colorado had a wild one. Pittsburgh had a 9-1 lead after the 1st inning. 16-10 going into the 8th inning. Colorado won 17-16!
  6. Yankees fans are very chill too right now, I’m sure.
  7. Loss. Closer Duran retires the Tigers on 4 pitches.
  8. Tigers bullpen: 2IP 4R 6H 1BB 1E
  9. Hanifee fielded that way too tentatively, you could anticipate the bad throw before it even left his hand.
  10. 3-2. Vest vs Scwarber. Huger at bat.
  11. Vest vs Turner. Huge at bat.
  12. Does the ball look like it has an orange glow on it or is it just my TV?
  13. MLB.tv for rest of the season is on sale this season at $34.99.
  14. 11 innings normal baseball. 12th inning free runner. If still tied, decide a winner by holding a baseball trivia contest, 3 players per team 1 question each. That way MLB could defile its history and pay tribute to its history at the same time.
  15. Red Sox and Breszlow hard to deal with too, lol. Other GMs must be so sensitive
  16. After 7 innings, the Braves and Reds were tied 3-3. After 8 innings, the Braves and Reds were tied 11-11.
  17. Key is Skubal, Mize and Flaherty staying healthy. If they are, everything else will fall into place, the Tigers have plenty of tools.
  18. Charlie Morton is an ‘84 Tiger. As in, he pitches for the Tigers now and in 1984 he was alive and learning to eat solid food and take his first steps.
  19. I still haven’t sifted through all the activity, but am I right in thinking none of the Red Sox, Cubs or Brewers did much?
