  1. PFF grades came out, Goff was the highest graded offensive player at 83.9 and I don't remember the exact number but Swift and Jamal Williams were either the 2 lowest or near the bottom among offensive players. Defensively Hutch was highest at 91.5 followed by Anzalone at 87, the worst were Paschal at 52 and Okudah at 43.
  2. I love the Sewell play but I could only imagine the backlash if it didn't work."Biggest play of the game and you throw to an offensive lineman? FIRE CAMPBELL!!"
  3. The Jets best defender and player in general Quinnen Williams left todays game with a leg injury. No word yet on the severity but that would be a huge help for the Lions if we miss him next week.
  4. Weird seeing so many people talking about the Lions game today at work. Normally there are just a few of us but there were prob a dozen or so people that came up to us die hards to ask about the game and to say Go Lions.
  5. I don't mind the deal from ATL's perspective if they get the Jiminez of 2022 but as we know and the article states he is extremely volatile. And yeah they'd no guarantee in prospects but he was regarded by many as their best position prospect so you think they could've gotten somebody more reliable than Joe. With that said if Joe does repeat his performance and is a force in the back of their bullpen it will work out for them even if Justyn becomes an everyday player for us. They are too deep with young players there so he wasn't likely to play much anyway.
  6. If ERod looked how he did in 2021 I think he would be an attractive option to teams but he just didn't look that good at all last year, atleast from a stuff and peripheral standpoint so Im not sure how attractive he would be to teams at this point. For the Tigers sake let's just hope it was a blip on the radar that could be attributed to what happened with him off the field last year cause if not we could be into Zimmermann part deux with him for the next several years.
  7. Watching the game tonight and I can't believe I saw an Ameer Abdullah sighting for the Raiders. I thought he was long gone from the league. Wonder what Kerryon Johnson is up to these days?
  8. He also selected to 9 Pro Bowls and was All Pro 3 times and was viewed throughout his career as one of the best QBs in the league, you could argue whether he truly was or not but the fact is that was the perception and that's what matters when it comes to HOF voting. If Stafford had that same perception he would be a shoe in for sure but unfortunately for him he doesn't.
  9. Sounds like they plan on moving him to the OF, not sure how he's going to feel about that though.
  10. BA had Malloy as the best position player and 6th overall in the Braves system.
  11. Did a little more digging about Justyn and came across this quote from Law during a write up on the AFL a month ago. In the comments of the article somebody also asked if he viewed him as an everyday player and he said yes. Malloy started in High A this year at age 22 and ended up in Triple A for the last week-plus of the season. Like the other older hitters I mentioned above, Malloy showed excellent plate discipline at all levels, with 97 walks and 138 strikeouts in 133 games this year. He’s the best hitter of this cluster, though, showing better off-speed recognition and ridiculous strength, driving a slider from a right-hander (so he didn’t have the platoon advantage) to right-center for a hard-hit double and turning on average velocity whenever he saw it. I didn’t get him against plus velocity, but didn’t see any issues with his bat speed. I’m surprised he only hit 16 homers this year because everything I saw him hit was loud.
  12. Dennis Dodd of CBS posted something saying that there are like 15K FBS players and over a 1000 are in the portal at this point. That's on average like 7 or 8 team.
  13. Heard this tidbit on the radio earlier, this is the first time the Lions have been favored over a double digit win team in 11 years. That game? The infamous Matt Flynn game of course.
  14. BTW Pipeline slides him into number 7 in our system and Mason Englert at 26.
  15. Wow, just the other day some speculated that Bogaerts may fetch 200 and instead he almost fetched 300! I always loved him as a player and its hard for me to believe that he is "only" 30 considering I remember him killing us back in our glory days.
  16. This is what I found from a Braves Prospect writer that was posted a couple days ago in regards to his 2023 outlook. 2023 Outlook After finishing the season by playing his final eight games in Gwinnett and having a strong showing in his AFL stint, it is expected that JHM will open the 2023 season back in Triple-A. He’ll go there to continue to work on his defense in hopes that it improves enough to secure an adequate future defensive home for him. It wouldn’t be out of the question to see the Braves bring him up at some point in 2023, so long as he continues to rake at Gwinnett, as his knack for getting on base at a high rate is a skill that projects to carry over into the big leagues. Honestly the bat may even be ready now, though without elite power it does make it tougher to deal with the defensive concerns at the big league level. Sounds like the bat would be ready to play for us right now but if the Tigers have a specific defensive spot in mind for him(3B?) he probably needs to spend time in Toledo and play at that spot everyday for a bit before being called up.
  17. I read somewhere on twitter that depending on if Daniels get granted an extra red shirt year and plays through all his eligibility there is a possibility that he could play CFB in 2018,2019,2020,2021,2022,2023 and 2024. Total Van Vilder.
  18. The elephant in the room though is that he not only spells Justin with a y but also has a hyphenated first name. Usually I'd pass on somebody like that but hopefully his game will overcome that.
  19. I also like how it sounds like this was a specific player the Tigers targeted instead of a team calling about one of our players and offering up a list of players to choose from. To me it sounds like Harris and Co. instigated the move and probably asked the Braves who or what would it take to get him and they settled on Jimenez.
  20. At the surface it looks like a good trade for the Tigers, it also gives me hope considering it is the Braves and they are stacked everywhere and are in win now mode so they maybe willing to "lose" a trade to get a guy like Jimenez who can help them win this year.
  21. It's especially hard to compare passing stats since the rules and game itself have evolved to benefit the offense and especially QBs and WRs.
  22. Not sure who the other guy is but unlike the MLB HOF which is extremely stat based when it comes to football perception and winning(especially for a qb) are things that I think voters pay more attention to than raw numbers. If a guy was never perceived to be elite I just don't think they are going to vote for him for the Hall.
  23. I agree with Buddha on this one, Stafford may or may not be deserving of getting in but deserving and getting in are two different things. As Buddha mentioned aside for maybe last year Stafford was never once viewed as one of the best at his positions, if you were never viewed as one of the best at your position at any point its unlikely they are going to put you in the Hall where its supposed to be filled with guys that were.
  24. Rams just ruled out Donald for tomorrow night against the Raiders.
  25. I have no problem with Copa's dimensions except CF, I wish they would bring in the wall even 10ft. To me it's just frustrating watching guys hit it on the screws 400+ft only for it to land in a CF's glove. Atleast when they hit it into Death Valley out in the RCF gap it usually ends up dropping and they atleast get a double or triple out of it but when it's to center by the shrubs more often than not it gets chased down.
