  1. I hate the argument that this dude on ESPN just said "If Bama was to face TCU who would you pick?" even if you choose Bama I don't think that matters or atleast history suggests that it doesn't matter. Most would've taken OSU or even ND in a game over Cincy last year for example yet that didn't matter.
  2. Barring injury of course I think Edwards will definitely be drafted higher than Corrum and was a better NFL prospect even before Blake got injured. Edwards has all the tools to be a top back in the NFL and while I love what Corum has done at Michigan I don't know if his skills translate as well to the NFL as Edwards do.
  3. I'm torn about TCU and OSU, on one hand I feel like TCU has the better resume having 5 top 20 wins and making their championship game unlike OSU but on the other hand IF a healthy OSU team is a tougher matchup come playoff time then Georgia being the 1 seed deserves the right to play the easier opponent.
  4. If Bama lost 5 games people would probably still have them as a favorite just cause their history and talent but if that's all that matters then just have them skip the regular season and put them in the playoff every year.
  5. People keep talking about how "good" Bama's losses were but why don't we talk about any of their big wins? That's right cause there aren't any. Their best win was against a Texas team who dominated them the whole game despite their starting QB going out in the 1st quarter. Atleast Ohio State has a convincing win at Penn St.
  6. I forgot that he went there, when he first started hyping it up I was like "why do you care so much?"
  7. Yeah Cade was great but he didn't have this type of athletic ability or arm strength.
  8. JJ isn't perfect but we haven't had a QB with his all around talent here since Henson.
  9. Don't agree with FG there if I was a Purdue fan. Too many good things need to happen for it to pay off in the end.
  10. Another great throw by O'Connell, he's really impressed me.
  11. That fake flea flicker was pretty slick never seen that before.
  12. Also there is no doubt that the SEC is the toughest conference but if you put in a 2 loss team from that conference over a 1 loss team from other conferences then you're basically telling all other non SEC schools that you have to be undefeated to get in to make the playoff. That's not fair to me.
  13. Saban may be correct that they would be favored against other playoff contenders saver for UGA and maybe Michigan but ultimately your resume and what you did THIS year should be what matters most. Bama would be favored because they are arguably the most talented team in the country but they were the most talented team at the start of the year too so if you're just basing it off that then why have them even play at all this season, just put them straight into the playoff. Also he cites Young being injured on why they may have lost 2 games, while that may have some truth to it, Texas had them dead to rights before their QB got injured, if he didn't go down they could easily have 3 losses.
  14. You also have to tip your cap to the opposition, Purdue's QB has made some really good throws and their defense hasn't missed many assignments.
  15. And the thing is there haven't been a ton of incompletions either that stop the clock.
  16. Should've been a flag on number 99, he one armed tackled the UM defender who had the punter dead to rights.
  17. That's a TD, quite frankly I don't blame the Purdue coach for being frustrated the booth should've caught that without him having to ask for the review.
  18. Real impressive drive there by Purdue, sure UM helped by blowing a couple tackles but still great answer nonetheless.
  19. TD Michigan! I have to say though on the play before where JJ scrambled and threw it to Bell on the replay it looked like Bell had a foot out of bounds before coming in to catch the ball. I only caught a split second of it though so not sure but if he wasn't it was real close.
  20. Hard to tell but it seems like it's atleast 75% Michigan fans in the crowd despite Purdue being an hour a way from Indy.
