Funny you mention Portis cause I was gonna bring him up earlier when I brought up Harris. I really like his game but I wasn't sure how he would fit with us. I'm sure we could find a use for him anyway so I'd be cool with bringing him in.

I really liked what I saw with Bagley in the limited time he was here. I agree that we don't have to resign him but I really hope we do. Cade and the Pistons offense and team in general seemed to play a lot better once he arrived. He was a great rim runner for Cade and also did a great job on put backs cleaning up any missed shots from around the basket.

BTW just a reminder the game is on Apple TV tonight and not Bally's.

Could Gary Harris be a potential option for us if we don't want to splurge on any of the big money players? Still only 27 and is coming off a season where he shot 39% from deep.

I hope the struggles of Javy and disappearance of E-Rod doesn't deter Chris from spending money in FA again. While spending big money isn't always the best idea and usually those contracts don't work out in terms of the $$ to WAR value but it's really hard to build a team strictly through home grown talent even if you are a team with a history of great player development and Lord knows that's not the Tigers.

There's some potential FA targets this coming offseason in terms of starting pitching as well that we may be in the market for. But considering our dire need for bats as well I'd imagine if the team does decide to spend money again this offseason they will probably allot that there.

Gabiela Procida from Italy seems like he could be somebody to look at with the 36th pick. 6'8 wing who can really shoot from all over the court. Definitely has some concerns but for the 36th pick he could be somebody to take a chance on.

I didn't realize Kemba is only owed 9, I just assumed he was making close to Hayward so that's a bonus.

So we essentially traded Grant for Duren, a 2nd round pick swap and another 2nd rounder.

I think one of the catch 22s with Chet is that people want him to gain weight and I totally get that but I wonder if he does put on say 30-35lbs will that effect his mobility or vertical?
