Gabiela Procida from Italy seems like he could be somebody to look at with the 36th pick. 6'8 wing who can really shoot from all over the court. Definitely has some concerns but for the 36th pick he could be somebody to take a chance on.

I didn't realize Kemba is only owed 9, I just assumed he was making close to Hayward so that's a bonus.

So we essentially traded Grant for Duren, a 2nd round pick swap and another 2nd rounder.

Woj said we sent the 1st we got for Grant for Duren and Walker. Well we had to worry about that pick for all of a day.

I think one of the catch 22s with Chet is that people want him to gain weight and I totally get that but I wonder if he does put on say 30-35lbs will that effect his mobility or vertical?

He speculates that atleast 1 of the second tier college bats will be there for us which includes Jung. Should post this in the MLB thread and not Tigers thread but since this gets more action I'm going to post it here and that is that I just want to acknowledge the greatness of Shohei Ohtani. On Tuesday he hits 2HRs and drives in 8 runs, then the following day he throws 8 shutout innings of 2 hit ball with 13Ks! It's just mind boggling.

I know the trade has been beaten to death but aside from the return what I never got was why they traded him when they did. It was like 2 weeks before the deadline. Why not wait 2 weeks and see if a market develops? Not to mention that although we were in 4th in the division we were still only 5 games back of first place. What if we went something like 11-3 in those 2 weeks and moved to within 2 games by the deadline?
