Even though the Lions own the 1:1 tiebreakers with all the NFC South teams, there are scenarios where the Lions would lose out a 3 way tie with an NFC South team.
And both are capable receivers and both are used as goal line backs. Really compliment each other well and either can be the every down back if the other is injured
I've seen this pointed out but the Broncos had Surtain on Williams a lot this game. Other teams are respecting Jameson Williams on the field and he really hasn't put up the numbers yet.
Jalen Carter has 0.5 sacks in the past 7 games. Have to wonder if his conditioning is a factor. Meanwhile, Gibbs and Laporta seem to be getting better as the season goes on. So far I think the Lions are ahead.
Gibbs and Laporta have a combined 1,800 yards from scrimmage and 17 TDs this season. I'm old enough to remember when the Lions were dragged for drafting them as high as they did.
