When do the Lions sign Gilmore?

It just seems like it's customary for an agent or lawyer to say that Sutton will turn himself in by x date. We have heard nothing. It just seems weird and concerning that no one has come forward and said yeah Cam is fine and will be turning himself in on x date.

Listening to a podcast with Sam Monson from PFF and he was saying the Lions have the best roster in the league. This was before Cam Sutton went AWOL but I don't think that changes the evaluation much. The Lions are getting close to having that 49ers level of top down talent on the roster.

Did anyone check Antonio Brown's house? Both former Steelers who imploded once leaving the Steelers and both live in Florida. Maybe Mike Tomlin can reach him?

No. If anything, it makes it more likely the Lions go after Stephon Gilmore.

The Lions aren't going to do anything until the league does something. If the Lions cut him now, there would be a big cap hit. If the league suspends him for violating the personal conduct policy, which seems likely, the Lions should be able to void his contract. I have a feel we have seen the last of Cam Sutton in a Lions jersey.

Apparently there has been a long paternity dispute. I'm not sure this woman was his girlfriend but a woman who he is having a paternity dispute with.

I have the Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego song stuck in my head except I replaced Carmen Sandiego with Cameron Sutton.

We can probably put to rest the debate on whether Carlton Davis is an improvement on Cam Sutton.

While we wait for Cam Sutton to turn up somewhere, one of Holmes first moves or non moves.

I find it hard to believe an NFL player is hard to get a hold of unless he is intentionally hiding or dead. By now everyone is aware of his warrant. His agent can't get a hold of him? The Lions? Family? On his Instagram he has multiple small children. I assume the mother of those kids is the one he choked, if not, can she find him? What's the end game here? He thinks he can show up at Allen Park for training camp and no one would notice?

Lions Cam Sutton does have an Instagram account and there is a post from February about a son that was just born. I've read rumors the fight was about a paternity issue.

So the Cam Sutton on Twitter everyone is harassing is actually the former Fresno State TE and not the Lions Sutton.

I was thinking the same thing. I was wondering if he had a mental breakdown and went and offed himself?

Reports are the girlfriend had injuries so I'm guessing strangulation marks on her neck. He may very well of played his last game in the NFL. He's not good enough for a team to take on this baggage.

I believe they could cut him now with a post June 1st designation. It would save them a lot of cap space to do it that way.

Stephon Gilmore seems like a good idea now. Even if Sutton remains on the Lions, he no doubt will be suspended.

I’m not a legal expert but I’m guessing bond none is not good.

I'm guess the Lions are looking over their options to cut him with the least impact to the salary cap.

At least Sutton didn't do something truly awful like gamble on non NFL games at the Lions hotel.

Unless Sutton has been in the same hole in the ground for the past two weeks that Aaron Rodgers was in last year, I cannot imagine he's unaware there is a warrant out for his arrest.
