  1. Is it really great defense or is it an almost complete lack of offensive playmakers outside of OSU & Michigan? Where are the QB’s in this conference? Are there any outside of Columbus and Ann Arbor that are draftable pros even in the late rounds? I don’t see any. WR and RB are also so weak across the rest of the conference right now. It’s a night and day talent difference with playmakers between the two conferences. The Pac is loaded on offense this year. I’m not so sure USC flaming dumpster of radioactive dogpoo defense wouldn’t be a top 5 defense in the B1G. I do agree with you that UCLA will struggle with the move. They suck and are a basketball school.
  2. This is as wide open of a playoff race that we’ve seen in many years. There are no dominant teams. I’d say there are probably 10 teams that would have a legitimate shot to win it all if they got in the 4. I expect the last 4 weeks of the season to be bumpy for the teams at the top.
  3. A few counterpoints. The middle one is a bit harsh.
  4. Michigan shouldn’t lose sight of the fact that the NCAA brought this case to the B1G. Even if UM outmaneuvers the conference in court and stymies any suspension now, the case could very well end up coming back to the NCAA. They will at least wait after the season to do an investigation but I’d expect any punishment from them to be far greater than a 3 week game day only suspension for Harbaugh.
  5. The official UM response along with the non-official mgoblog groupthink are going to be similar to the opening scene of Gladiator. 🍿 🍿
  6. Wouldn’t it just be easier to fire Harbaugh after the year and make up with the B1G. He’s the pound of flesh they want so just give it to them and move on for the program sake.
  7. The biggest game of the UM season is 4 days away. The first real test with a win almost guaranteeing a spot in the playoff. Yet, not even a peep about the actual game on Saturday and what that means for the team. At this point, you are just trolling yourself by getting so caught up in all of this ridiculousness.
  8. The Lions will sound like a Lions home game when it comes to fan support.
  9. I prefer “Whoever smelt it, dealt it”
  10. You’ve been using “Pearl Clutching” a lot recently. It’s sexist and misogynistic term and something you may want to rethink using next time.
  11. 3 tough games in a row starting next weekend and all without their advanced in game cheating mechanisms. If Jim loses 2 of them and misses the playoff, that groundswell of support from the maize and blue tinfoils will quickly turn into pitchforks. It’s going to be quite a fun watch from here on out. I’m rooting for Karma.
  12. Nope. You’d go ad hom like you’ve been doing for 20 years when you don’t have a real argument.
  13. Hardly This is as stupid a thought as Ryan Day is going to be busted for breaking federal hacking laws.
  14. Lol. You can only blame the accuser if it turns out the allegations weren’t true! Thats not up for debate here. Nobody can deny that Stallions did it. It doesn’t matter who turned him in for being the main cog in a 3 year cheating campaign. Whether its here, on talk radio, or friends and family, The UM groupthink on is topic is bordering on embarrassing. I’m surprised there aren’t more proud alums coming out and saying they don’t condone and won’t defend behavior that is frankly far below the high level that the program prides itself on.
  15. Hahaha. I want to tip the hat for a nice troll back but I think you may actually be serious and believe this idiocy.
  16. Just when you thought things couldn’t possibly get harder to believe, here comes the Alex Yood scandal. I don’t even know what to think about this one.
  17. Continue to use the Ryan Day angle to distract. It doesn’t matter where the information came from. At the very least, Michigan had a staffer illegally scout games in person. That is a violation. Harbaugh as the head coach is responsible for this whether he knew it or not.
  18. Tremendous similarities. I am envisioning @romad1 watching UM games with his custom maize and blue shaman outfit.
  19. I’ve got the Lions winning an ugly, poorly played game.
  20. The rumors and speculation from UM fans is that Ryan Day hired an outside firm to hack UM computers while OSU fans are claiming the opposite that former UM coach Matt Weiss was fired for hacking into OSU computers. Will be interesting to see how much truth there is to any of these rumors. Either way, these along with pretty much anything that @romad1 has posted on this subject are all distractions from the undeniable fact that a UM coaching staff member committed a violation by videotaping other teams in person. This can’t be defended it. It happened. How much it made a difference in games, how many other teams do things similar, how much the NCAA has it out for Harbaugh and Michigan, are all UM folks trying to deflect attention away from yet another violation committed by the program under Harbaugh’s leadership.
  21. It only enhances it. He’s a 10x better football coach than Tommy Tuberville and I think he’d be even better than that as a sleazy politician.
