Wow, that’s unbelievable.

There’s one aspect of SOL that hasn’t changed. I hate to complain about officials but that crew was terrible. The decision to call penalties on some very soft stuff on 3rd down well away from the play was frustrating. Things that should’ve been let go were called repeatedly. I watched the Bills/Jets and Broncos/Vikes afterwards and it was shocking at how differently those games were called with specific regard to illegal contact/defensive holding/PI.

I’m sure it’s already a sore spot they have to support the Commanders. Falcons head coach Arthur Smith is the son of the Founder and CEO of FedEx.

He’s a pro football coach in his prime. I can’t see him being interested in the college game and all of the bs that doesn’t have to do with coaching ball. I think this is going to be a really tough game. Chargers are starting to come on and have been getting better defensively. I think this comes down to the end and the Lions end up a play short. Chargers 24 Lioms 23

I This could very well be but not much needs to happen for it to be Ohio State, Alabama, Oregon, and Louisville.

There is no overwhelming favorite once you get into the playoff this year. Whoever gets in will have similar shots. There’s no whipping boys that don’t have a shot in the semifinal like we’ve seen more years than not in the 4 team playoff era. Even the top teams this year Georgia, OSU, and Michigan are all noticeably weaker than some of their past teams. It’s anyone’s for the taking this year. Keep an eye on the Beavers. They ca ruin a lot of the plans in the Pac starting with an upset next week vs UW and/or one the following against Oregon. Louisville has a great chance to ruin things for FSU. Bama is coming on and will be a huge test for Georgia. UM/OSU goes without saying.

Cut the Chips some slack. They’re a tiny G5 program and don’t have the cheating mechanisms in place to do it properly like a powerhouse program of UM’s stature. I don’t even know the name of their loser coach but he’s like a child compared to a genius like Harbaugh when it comes to cheating.
