i think the same thing. i want him to stay and prosper here. i think he's going to be a really good player. he wont be luka but that's ok, he's still really good. but as much as i like the pistons, i hate seeing incompetent management rewarded. i want to see them fail. i only wosh there waa a way to make gores suffer for his incompetence but there isnt. no matter what happens he turned a $350 million investment into a $3 billion asset.

he's a good blocker, that's about it.

so why even play him at all this season? if any team has a good player and a bunch of guys who arent that good, they should just sit the guy who is good? every game? come on.

sure, but their underlying numbers appeared to show a team that was punching above its weight. and so it turned out to be. that said, it was a stunning collapse. made even more stunning because it came largely against some of the worst teams in the league.

its going to take a lot of maneuvering to get cooper flag in the lakers or bulls, but i'm sure the league could do it. do they go crazy and put him on the spurs to go with wemby? the conspiracy angles here are endless. but we can all guess which team wont be getting the top pick in 2025.

no duren and no cade? why are we tanking?

and all the hockey stat boy know it alls were crowing after that hawks win in ot that the wings were a lock for the playoffs. one larkin injury later and were back to looking at lottery odds.

they saw duren as a pick and roll dive man who would work perfectly with cade. and in that sense he does work very well with cade. the problem with duren is defense, hustle, and his inability to develop a shot yet. if he never does, then he's a more coordinated andre drummond. that's not nothing, but that's not someone you pay. ivey was drafted as an athlete and scorer. and he is both of those things. ivey has been mishandled, imo. he could play well with cade but isnt the "perfect" cade player because he isnt a dead eye shooter. but he hs regressed badly under monty. part of that is on ivey seeing as how he seems to constantly sulk and doesnt hustle on defense, but i still blame monty for effing with ivey so much early on. if you have duren you cant have ausar and ivey on the floor too. no spacing. if you keep duren you have to have a stretch 5. i know everyone loves ausar, but he 1000% does not fit on a team with duren and ivey. none of them can shoot or bring the ball up the floor. its just 100% cade. terrible roster construction.
