Nobody is claiming that he is hitting well. He certainly isn't. A 66 OPS+ is awful. It's your asinine Neifi Perez comp that is the problem.

I also wouldn't call charging higher prices for new drugs a strength. Capitalism works well for most things, but not so much in the health sector.

As a bususinessman, I imagine it is frustrating to invest in something over which you have no control. For me, I know I have made a lot more money in the market than I would otherwise. However the lows feel much more impactful than the highs. I never feel really comfortable.

Garrett Hill is old (26), was a 26th rounder and doesn't throw that hard, but he continues to put up good numbers at each level. His 14.6 k/9ip rate in AA this year is very impressive. I imagine he's a future reliever, but could he be a late bloomer?

You are getting closer now. If you take 27 year old Neifi Perez's defense and 39 year old Sheffield's offense, you get something closer to 29-year old Javier Baez.

He's already proved it his whole career. He has had five seasons that were better than any season Perez ever had.

I was not a big fan of Baez when looking at the free agent list last fall, but to compare him to Neifi Perez makes no sense at all.

If MLB wanted to make the regular season more interesting for losing teams, they could do this! It's a lot more exciting than a lottery pick or seeing how much money your favorite team can save. Yeah, I know we don't know how to do that in America and it will never happen.

Skubal, Faedo and Peralta get regular starts. Then you have two bullpen games where 3 pitchers pitch 3 innings apiece. Isn't this where baseball is headed anyway? That's what the Rays might do in this situation.
