I don't think they will but I'm not losing sleep over it. Giving him that kind of contract at age 30 is just too risky in this market. If they still have the pitching lab, I'm confident they can develop and find pitching in bulk.

We need Jake back as soon as possible...Dingler probably need a guy who can time share the position vs playing every day. The rest of the lineup struggles are baked in to an extent. We just need to ride the wave and figure out if guys need to be replaced...but there are no great options. Colt Keith is going to get optioned soon unless he has a dramatic turnaround.
