Are police allowed to be at campaign events in uniform like that?

There’s a lot of truth to this sentiment and why I think she’s going to win easily. Shes’ not going to flip any votes but will attract non voters. People are tired of the former guy.

It took Republicans 70 years to get here but when Ike was running in 1952 the party faced this fork in the road and he beat back Taft in the primary and shaped the party for Nixon and Reagan later on.

I believe in theory that this country is better with two strong parties but as a former GOP voter.... they had multiple chances to purge Trump and chose not to. After Access Hollywood, After the first impeachment, after Jan 6, after the 2nd impeachment.... All they would have had to do was sacrifice one Biden presidency. If they had gotten together and turned their back on him and his voters I believe right now one of them would be leading in the polls if they played it right. Things were always cyclical in our politics.

I wouldn't put it past them to try some garbage then when denied, use that as an excuse to go after Harris/Walz in court since "they did the same thing". It isn't about things being technically on par with each other or equal... just plant a seed in enough people's heads so that Fox can talk about it and you can get enough election "certifiers" to refuse to do their job because they heard about some issues.

60 is the new 50 though.... Obama and Clinton skewed things. Post WWII, here are the ages of Presidents at the start of their term. 62, 43, 55, 56, 61, 52, 69, 64, 46, 54, 47, 70, 78. and to me, Nixon and Bush 43 were "old"... meaning they were culturally older than they were. Someone said in 1960 election said Nixon was an old person's view of what young people should be.

I'm sure each team has protocols in terms of what they say.... "Mine" or "I go I go" are ones I've heard at the games. But generally the CF takes priority on everything and it's up to the corners to yield. Everyone knows this. Even the players know it. But ff course on some plays it all happens so fast and adrenaline takes over that sometimes they mess it up. It happens. But it's not for lack of knowledge on what you are supposed to do. One reason you'd keep going after it after the CF calls it is in case they suddenly lose it. The issue there isn't Perez knowing or not knowing... just execution. That's sports.

I hate Tlaib (She's my rep) because she doesn't have any courage. There's some things that are easy to condemn and she refused to do it. I will never vote for her. If every other vote was counted and it was my vote that would determine the control of the US House I still wouldnt do it.

I only check mine out of curiosity but I don’t act on anything day to day. I pay them to do that. I’m not interested in more stress so that my portfolio might be 2% higher in 10 years.

I remember that too. And I kept thinking of trying to come up with a similar thing for men to be tax free and couldn’t. There was ans maybe still is a push to make them tax free.

if someone close to the campaign says it, then I think tampons wil become a useful prop. So far it just seems like a twitter thing. As usual on that site whenever I see something is trending, I click on it, and its just a bunch of tweets talking about the fact its trending but I don't see the sources. So I guess I can't get on them... yet. But it certainly sounds like something that side says.

When I watched the video I posted earlier where he signed the law and was with the girls, I had the suspicion that he had daughters. Why? Because of how he interacted with them. I read a thing a few years ago about how we as adults, especially men, need to be careful about things like hugging and picking up girls, even family members. Don't just assume they want to. We need to teach them that physical touch of any kind is not expected behavior from them and they can say no, even if it's an innocent hug from a man you know. If they reach out to hug you, then go ahead. I remember relatives who would practically beg for hugs or someone to 'sit on their lap'. Most of the time it was innocent but it can send a subliminal message to them for later that they don't have total agency on physical touch.

Yeah, he looks like 60 year olds looked when I was a kid. Now that I'm 50, 60 looks like Brad Pitt.
