  1. I miss physical tickets. I love the convenience of only needing my phone but if you fork down the money upfront for a package you should get physical reminders too. I heard of some NFL teams going back to giving tickets.
  2. For sure. Andy Serkis too. And Selvig. Those 3 are brilliant.
  3. He's opting out because he sees it as his duty to maximize his value for everyone else. He comes from a union family. that's important to him. I expect him to stay in Houston or sign with LA.
  4. I have a very conservative friend who told all of his friends on facebook it's time to dump trump and go all in on DeSantis. I told him that DeSantis is very favorable for conservatives but the problem is Trump drew in people that normally didn't vote for Republicans. Even the comments confirmed that among his people. DeSantis was considered "establishment" by these people. DeSantis could end up with the same type of support McCain and Romney got. Republicans can back DeSantis but if Trump takes his 4% home then Ronnie's got a ceiling.
  5. I thought it was later determined that the Barr memo was bullshit. He just made it up.
  6. It was actually illegal to send a fax unsolicited. I know this because we had to fight with one of my marketers in 2001 who wanted to send a Fax that was 12 pages to every potential customer in our expertise, 6000 of them, across the country. I kept saying "That's going to just make them mad...." But this marketer "used to be one of these guys, I know them".
  7. If you are a Star Wars fan then you probably are watching Andor. If you are a casual fan.... you need to watch. I think it's hands down the best SW TV series and the best thing they've done overall in a very long time.
  8. Does the runoff in GA have absentee ballots? Or is it just in person?
  9. if you are referring to the MLB Network interview.. keep in mind that's MLB corporate media. Nobody's going to be negative on a player. That's all sunshine and happiness.
  10. next up women. Then landowners. It's what the Founders wanted and they were divinely inspired by God. The Protestant Jesus God. You can't go against that.
  11. That also had the stench of January 6 and Kemp/Trump going at it too. don't know what change that means for a new runoff though.
  12. Mathematically though considering an all things being equal a runoff means those two are competing for the subset of voters that voted just for them right? I have a hard time thinking someone who didn’t vote for Walker or Warnock would suddenly vote for them knowing it would be very close the first time. If they had a preference they would have already done so.
  13. They can spout off all they want at a podium and on TV but concession is not a requirement. Challenges cost money.
  14. One outfit already called for the GA runoff. Not good in my opinion.
  15. MCS might appreciate this. The intersection of Telegraph and Van Born is a disaster because of Telegraph construction. The light going west is like 4 seconds green. Always a backup. On Sunday there was a longer backup than normal as they were laying blacktop and this typical Trumpy pickup truck with flags/decals tried to pull out then cut back in via the left hand turn lane. I squeezed ahead of him as he tried to get in front of me and I yelled out a "Let's Go Brandon" at him. He flipped me off and honked repeatedly.
  16. I agree. After all we've seen, mocking the reporter, grab them by the pussy, muslim bans, multiple impeachments, Jan 6.... this is the data point the GOP needs to finally tell him to go fuck off.
  17. I still say the funniest line in Major League is when they call Lou about managing the team. "Oh I don't know..... I got a guy on the other line about some white walls, I'll call you back"
  18. My favorite Knight moment is when the reporter secretly taped his halftime speech to his players. It's on the youtube.
  19. Is Boebert on Only Fans yet? (Stole this from twitter but I couldnt copy it.)
  20. Now that the midterm elections are over, if not finished calculating, I figured it's time to kick this off for discussions related to this. With the lack of a red wave but Ron DeSantis doing so well in Florida it seems obvious that he's the consensus front runner, if not in numbers, but in punditry. The question is whether Donald Trump will step aside or fight him for it. He's already given him a nickname. I believe Ron could win the primary but I also think Trump has just enough of a populust/cult following that will just sit out the election. On the D side the big question is whether Biden runs. If he does will someone have the balls to primary him? If he doesn't, I doubt he annoints Harris as his favorite.
  21. I think he's already got some but will have to take the DT initials off of them.
