  1. next up women. Then landowners. It's what the Founders wanted and they were divinely inspired by God. The Protestant Jesus God. You can't go against that.
  2. That also had the stench of January 6 and Kemp/Trump going at it too. don't know what change that means for a new runoff though.
  3. Mathematically though considering an all things being equal a runoff means those two are competing for the subset of voters that voted just for them right? I have a hard time thinking someone who didn’t vote for Walker or Warnock would suddenly vote for them knowing it would be very close the first time. If they had a preference they would have already done so.
  4. They can spout off all they want at a podium and on TV but concession is not a requirement. Challenges cost money.
  5. One outfit already called for the GA runoff. Not good in my opinion.
  6. MCS might appreciate this. The intersection of Telegraph and Van Born is a disaster because of Telegraph construction. The light going west is like 4 seconds green. Always a backup. On Sunday there was a longer backup than normal as they were laying blacktop and this typical Trumpy pickup truck with flags/decals tried to pull out then cut back in via the left hand turn lane. I squeezed ahead of him as he tried to get in front of me and I yelled out a "Let's Go Brandon" at him. He flipped me off and honked repeatedly.
  7. I agree. After all we've seen, mocking the reporter, grab them by the pussy, muslim bans, multiple impeachments, Jan 6.... this is the data point the GOP needs to finally tell him to go fuck off.
  8. I still say the funniest line in Major League is when they call Lou about managing the team. "Oh I don't know..... I got a guy on the other line about some white walls, I'll call you back"
  9. My favorite Knight moment is when the reporter secretly taped his halftime speech to his players. It's on the youtube.
  10. Is Boebert on Only Fans yet? (Stole this from twitter but I couldnt copy it.)
  11. Now that the midterm elections are over, if not finished calculating, I figured it's time to kick this off for discussions related to this. With the lack of a red wave but Ron DeSantis doing so well in Florida it seems obvious that he's the consensus front runner, if not in numbers, but in punditry. The question is whether Donald Trump will step aside or fight him for it. He's already given him a nickname. I believe Ron could win the primary but I also think Trump has just enough of a populust/cult following that will just sit out the election. On the D side the big question is whether Biden runs. If he does will someone have the balls to primary him? If he doesn't, I doubt he annoints Harris as his favorite.
  12. I think he's already got some but will have to take the DT initials off of them.
  13. My question about the speaker earlier was basically, does the speaker have to come from the party that controls the House? If the majority party can't come to a consensus on the vote and the minority part does, then does the minority candidate become speaker?
  14. Question on how you determine ththe speaker of the house. Is it a simple majority or is it determined by the party in charge? Like could we see, even if extremely unlikely, that a 220 GOP majority has 5 nutjobs who hold out and Pelosi is elected?
  15. I would almost prefer that to a D house.
  16. Tudor ain’t conceding. Republicans now think you should count every vote instead of stopping at midnight.
  17. There was a very interesting thread tonight about trump vs Desantis.
  18. Normal off season program sounds like a trumped up version of “eating donuts and watching Netflix ”. I know. They work hard in the off season now.
  19. Help me out with tweets later by giving context. Like if someone is doing better or worse than expected. I can’t keep track of all the districts. I won’t know if “CA-03” is a red or blue district.
  20. I have a lot of friends, close friends, who are into that. It is what it is. I think there’s a difference too in liking something on twitter vs blasting it.
  21. I voted all D but not on purpose. Just ended up that way. Wasn’t planning on voting for Rashida but did it anyway. Her opponent was all over Dearborn because of the school book thing trying to convince Muslims to vote for him. I try telling them that 5 years ago the republicans wanted to ban them.
  22. Let’s just say he’s a fan of someone who, hat tip to @Edman85looks like Lee Corso.
  23. Scott won in 2018 by 10K votes. Desantis won by 33K. i expect margins 10 times that tonight.
  24. My comment was directed towards the national elections not MIchigan. I think all 3 proposals pass and our 3 gals win easily.
