They took him to the ER, still dressed up, and he had the blood from the scene all over his chest. When he walked in they threw him on the cart and started to rip his shirt off. "Take it easy, I'm an actor, it's just my hand This other stuff is fake". At least that's the story he told on the Talking Sopranos podcast.

Think about 2006. The reason the ending of the season sucked so much was because the collapse was going to potentially wipe it all away. After the great season full of so many special moments then all we get is a lame wild card and loss to the Yankees? Seemed that way after game 1. The team celebrated in KC when clinching a playoff berth but that was on the road. That would have been it. I suspect that's why the post game celebration after beating the Yankees played out the way it did. It was a makeup party. If the team had won the division title the final weekend they would have partied at home like they did after the Yankees.

absolutely. The meeting is 1/2 mile from my house and across the street from my old one. Religious fanatics of the Muslim and Christian faiths are raising hell. They claim it's about books that are explicit but pay attention to some of the signs you see and you'll just see blatant anti gay slurs having nothing to do with kids or books. You'll see the word "groomer". You'll see a sign that says "Homosexual is Sin". Some of the signs are in poor English. I might go Thursday to the rescheduled meeting but I'm afraid I will get into a fight. So ironic that so many people are now in bed with the same people who called them terrorists 20 years ago. For the record our Muslim mayor is against all of this. He's taking a lot of heat from "his people" as they said on his facebook post showing support for not banning books. He has no control over the schools as that's the superintendent and school board but said the city libraries will unequivocally not be banning books. Nothing has upset me more politically since Jan 6.

Speaking of dryer pet peeves.... in 2014 I moved a few blocks away. When I sold my house, to get the C of O, I needed to update my gas pipe for my dryer, copper was no good anymore. Ok. My HVAC friend who lives in the city didn't get it but went to the city, watched a video to get educated so he could serve other customers in the area. New house. Order washer and dryer. They won't hook up the dryer because it's copper fittings and pipe. Yeah, I had to do the same thing to the house I bought that I did to the house I sold. The seller got a C of O.

we got some from Big Bob's last year and same deal. They told us ahead of time there'd be a delay due to supply chain issues. At one point they called and said one piece could be available but to call back as soon as we could as someone else might snatch it up who was also waiting. It got here when they said it got here and that's all I can ask. Although I laugh at the recent trend of "hey, pay us $50 extra and we will unwrap it for you"

The thing I remember about 2010 is it seemed like we were still hanging on to the old guard and the team struggled to find even replacement level players to fill in the gaps. Wil Rhymes, Boesch, Johnny Damon, Sizemore, Worth, Adam Everett.... a revolving door of AAA outfielders and infielders. Brad Thomas, Ryan Perry.... For some reason I don't have a bad taste in my mouth after this season. The last month of the season had some good games to watch.

A friend had a washer set to be delivered to their lake house. They said Saturday at 2. They got a call Thursday before from the driver that they are there. “Uh we are an hour away in good traffic. Nobody told us you were coming”. And it’s not like Irish hills is nearby for those guys.
