kdog Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 Baez was in the initial lineup…and was removed a few hours before game time…just like yesterday. Quote
Dave Christian Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 I'm disappointed that I have to watch Baez and Haase swing and miss today. Quote

kdog Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 He was out of the lineup due to bereavement yesterday. Seems like there was a miscommunication about his availability today? Quote
kdog Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 Baez is available off the bench today. He will go on the bereavement list in the ‘near future.’ The tigers always have some strange stuff going on. Quote

In recent years I've been to a lot of funeral/memorial services weeks and months after a death. Quote

So many people were having memorial tributes a year or two later. We had one for my ex FIL a year and half after he passed. Quote

Yes - I think the pandemic did a lot to normalize something people have wanted to do anyway. The other factors are the increase in cremations and families scattered across the country. If an interment isn't driving the schedule a family can work out a date that more people are able to meet. Quote
AZTigersfan Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 Manning still hanging his off speed pitches right over the plate. This could get ugly fast! Quote
gehringer_2 Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 can anyone on this team play this game? Quote

I don't like the approach. At least the 1st time throw use your FB more until they start getting around on it. You're doing a hitter a favor telling him he doesn't have to look for velo right out of the gate. 1 Quote
gehringer_2 Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 Every hit on a breaking ball. Stupid pitch calling. Quote

AZTigersfan Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 Absolute shocker, Mckinstry strikes out to lead off the game. Quote
AZTigersfan Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 Three sliders in a row and the third one absolutely crushed. Even cmo can see they’re sitting on soft. Come on Haase, wake up! Quote
Sports_Freak Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 Anybody seen any good movies lately? 🙄🙄 Quote
AZTigersfan Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 In the zone out of the zone it doesn’t matter. Manning is getting absolutely hammered. Quote
Shinzaki Posted August 6, 2023 Posted August 6, 2023 There is no greater testimony to the failure of Sands than the presence of Haase as the back up catcher Quote
