There's something special brewing here. Also, and I've said it many times, pay Goff NOW. I know some want to wait and see until he wins playoff games but what more do you want from the guys right now, he's been arguably the best QB in the league in the last 16 games. Yeah, I said it. 28 TDs and 4 INTs and 13-3 in that timeframe. I don't see how he crumbles at this point, he's in complete command of this offense and all the weapons aren't even there yet. I had the thought during the game…. It’s possible the “internal discussions” Holmes has referenced doesn’t mean the Lions are waiting, they mean Goff is waiting. If the Jets had just slid down and then had to settle for just a FG, the Eagles would have still got the ball back with a minute to go and needing only a FG to win.
