RedRamage
A little project I'm working on that I need opinions on the top three Pistons of all time. Try not to let recency bias effect your decision as much as possible. I really know very little about the Pistons so any help would be appreciated. buddha
if you go by win shares: laimbeer 98 lanier 91 joe d 86 isiah 80 chauncey 73 ben wallace 65 drummond 60 grant hill 60 tayshaun 57 larry foust 57 dave bing 56 rip 54 (win shares overrates rebounds, imo)
Shinzaki
Lanier...Zeke...Laimbeer edges Joe D. Grant Hill and Cade Cunningham are two of the most gifted players I've seen in Pistons uni's going back to the 70's, but they don't have the longevity. Another extremely talented player that threw it away by becoming an addict was the late, great Marvin Barnes. He was James Worthy with a jump shot
casimir
I would say Lanier, Thomas, and Dumars.
NYLion
Thomas, Dumars and Lanier. I was really tempted to add Hill but didn't play long enough here. Laimbeer, Billups, Hamilton are on the HM list.
Motown Bombers
Do we just count on the court performance? Dumars had a hand in every finals appearance in post Fort Wayne Pistons history.
Betrayer
My Mount Rushmore is Thomas, Wallace, Dumars, and Billups in that order. But I never paid much attention to the guys (like Lanier) who came before my time and are probably deserving of a spot.

I remember watching him go against the best centers of his era and mostly outplaying them, but it never made much difference because the rest of the team was ...meh. Motown Bombers
I'll go with Allen Iverson, Tracy McGrady and Antonio McDyess. Almost put Stackhouse ahead of McDyess.

Deleterious
Bing could slide in over Dumars. He was in the running for MVP a few seasons in Detroit.
buddha
dumars over bing all day. dumars was a very good player for a long time. bing had a high peak but was not as good as long as dumars was.
