Holocaust museum's wrong.  Not every element has to be equal for an analogy to work and for them to claim antisemitism is a perverted use of the word.

The point is she was targeted by the state.  The point is as this group of people was targeted by the state so many others just went about their lives because it "didn't affect them".  It was about others so they ignored it or were passive about it as it was about "those people", just like people are doing today since this is, to some, about other people.  The "why" isn't relevant.  Its the fact there's a target and the lack of interest in the neighbors in caring about it since it doesn't cross their paths.

The big thing about Grant is that he was constantly on *offense*.... certainly while he was in the western theater, but his presence in the eastern theater (previously led by leaders who were ineffective and/or political in nature and constantly reacting to events as opposed to shaping them) changed the tide of the war.

It also again gives a moment to drop this quote of his that everyone should internalize about our current moment:

We are seeing the result of Trump having chased so many reasonably sane people that used to be in his orbit out of it. Oddly enough probably none with worse result than Ivanka, who being family was someone he would actually listen to, and who, despite being a spoiled wannabe, doesn't to seem to have inherited the Trump crazy gene. Of course that's no doubt the very reason she has gone to earth this term.

She has kept a very low profile for sure... however her husband is laying out plans for post-war Gaza developments, with T's backing.

I saw a MAGA post pop up in my Facebook feed where this was posted. Is there any logic with these people? With all the extra agents and funding, wouldn’t you think those numbers are ****ty?

And that number is just 2025

Yup, clearly it has nothing to do with the way in which the current regime is doing things. Nope, not at all. 

(incidentally there have always been people working to help immigrants gain legal status, especially those brought here as children, and many have argued for decades to find ways to find a pathway to citizenship to those who had been contributing to their communities for decades)

The talking heads on TV keep saying thank goodness there is/was so many videos of the murders of innocent citizens in Minnesota. And think about it, even with video proof and investigations not even started, the Trump administration officials rushed to judgment to make the victims appear to be the guilty ones. Pure gaslighting. Don't believe what you see with your eyes, just believe this "story." So yes, thank goodness there are videos to show how much multiple people in this totally corrupt administration lie to the American people. And they don't back off the lies, even when pushed they stick to these lies.
