Just when I thought their defenses couldn't get any dumber...

Can I wager HUGE money that Trump was given immunity from the FBI to avoid criminal prosecution and to try to take down Epstein?

But did they have the correct target of investigation?

Why not both?

Hmmm....

Maybe we could rebuild Alcatraz as a golden palace, and tell him it's his kingdom.

As long as it includes a golden toilet (as his throne)...

You win the internet.

According to Michael Wolff, things got nasty between Epstein and Trump when Epstein showed Trump a property that he was going to buy for 36 million.  Trump went behind his back, and bought it for 41 million.  He sold the property to a Russian for 95 million less than 24 months after, which can be considered money laundering.  To protect himself from Epstein,  Trump went to the police and said that Epstein was running a hor house, according to Wolff.

An essay test?  What percentage of native born Americans are going to pass that one?  What percentage of Congress members?  How about the President?

My whole point. Especially regarding those who want to "serve" us. If you can't pass a literacy test you don't deserve to govern.

Elitist I know, but to quote JD Vance....

Harp on this a lot, but what are we getting for all of this? Material conditions that are worse than they were previously, unless you are a billionaire or a techie.

As someone in my high 30s, it absolutely sucks having to spend the prime years of life thinking about this guy and that this generation, collectively, will have to deal with the aftermath of the damage that he will leave in his wake. And it absolutely sucks to have to raise kids in a society where (at the very least) a large minority gets off on being ***holes all the time.

It's all very dangerous, but it's all very pointless as well. What a waste.

The biggest own goal in recorded history.

I don’t understand why they keep bending themselves into pretzels to defend him

Because their fortunes are 100% tied to him now, so if he goes down, they go with him.

I can't argue with the concept of a tougher citizenship test. But I will propose all office seekers and appointees to federal offices also be required to take the test with the results being public.

Implementing this is not unlike the discretionary literacy test southern states implemented for voting during Jim Crow days: they can use it to keep out everyone they don't want, while not even administering the test to people they do want.

A few weeks ago, he targeted Boston which might be the safest big city in the country.  Boston mayor Michelle Wu calmy told him where to go.

There's a massive surge of ICE activity in "Boston" right now, that started last Thursday. I have Boston in quotes because most of the activity I've heard of has been in Chelsea, Revere, Lowell.... and other places that are not the city of Boston.

I'm one of the few people I knew who always did the best on tests consisting of essays. I also liked oral exams-the only bummer of stopping at a master's was not having the chance to defend my thesis.

Ugh, I don't have so many international students this fall.  Last Spring, they were all scared to the point of mental health problems at all the immigration stuff going on.

I get that, but isn't there a current test for citizenship? Can't the Regime do selective "grading" if they choose. Still I'd tie it to requirements that candidates for state and federal offices take a comprehensive test on constitutional and historic subjects as a condition for running for office?

He's going to be at Tigers Yankees on Thursday to commemorate the anniversary of the day Trump Tower moved up the tallest building list.
