Who would hire the next coach if not Warde? We don't have time to hire both an AD and a coach in the next three weeks. If Warde can hire DeBour or Freeman, he should. Then, he can be given his walking papers.

is michigan a good enough job that you take it knowing the guy who hired you was getting fired in a week?  i have my doubts.

some guy on 247 that Warde has a good relationship with KDB and that they needed to leverage that.  Meanwhile if KDB left Alabama it would be because he was under a constant threat of being fired for very little cause and didn't like the cultural fit.  I dunno if that gives KDB any sort of grace period but you'd think that a new AD would have to be KDB approved.
