He really works with kids struggling at the plate and gets the best out of them. His brother also runs a hitting school here localy and played a in the minors for awhile. Arlington Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Appreciate the post on McKinstry. Good stuff. He also won an award recently for being a good guy off the field. Our defense is surprising as of late. The outfield has been a plus with the two infielders out there. Maybe better overall than with the injured starters. Baez is making his case to be somewhere on the field everyday but Sweeney not so much. Not sure what the numbers are on Tork but he appears to be greatly improved. Dingler may have taken over the starting role. Torres has been solid and Jung looks good defensively too. This team is full of surprises. Quote

I just saw one that said drafting TeSlaa would cause the Lions to have to trade Laporta. Quote

Newsweek has really really fallen off a cliff, is what I make of it. Miller's on the IL. No idea the extent of the injury, but it's worth noting. Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Looks like Vierling is going to start his rehab in Toledo this weekend. Will be interesting on who he replaces on the 26 man. 1 Quote

If Margot gets activated, it'll be Malloy When Vierling comes back it's Jung that goes back on the Tony Packo's diet Tigers are converting Kenta Maeda to a first baseman. Regarding Malloy. I just don't think he's ever going to be an everyday big league player. He's just one of those Tweeners. Too good for Triple A, Not good enough to start at MLB. Quote
Jason_R Posted 18 minutes ago Posted 18 minutes ago I don’t post on this side a lot but I’m glad to see Javy and Tork turn it around. And I’m glad to see the haters eat crow. 1 Quote

Why bring back Margot at all if Vierling is about to be healthy? Just release him or trade him for some magic beans. Quote
