I may have mentioned it but his Dad is my kids HS asst Baseball coach. He really works with kids struggling at the plate and gets the best out of them. His brother also runs a hitting school here localy and played a in the minors for awhile. Just a great all around baseball family.

Appreciate the post on McKinstry.  Good stuff.  He also won an award recently for being a good guy off the field.

Our defense is surprising as of late.  The outfield has been a plus with the two infielders out there.  Maybe better overall than with the injured starters.  Baez is making his case to be somewhere on the field everyday but Sweeney not so much.  Not sure what the numbers are on Tork but he appears to be greatly improved.  Dingler may have taken over the starting role.  Torres has been solid and Jung looks good defensively too.  This team is full of surprises.

The world is now full of ai generated clickbait crap like this.

I got the feeling it just sounded like such an off-the-wall thing and it came to me in the form of a Facebook post and Facebook gets more iffy all the time.

I just saw one that said drafting TeSlaa would cause the Lions to have to trade Laporta.

Can anybody make sense out of this Newsweek repeat of a bleacher report article claiming the Tigers should acquire Luis Robert Jr. from the White Sox for much of the Erie pitching staff?

Newsweek has really really fallen off a cliff, is what I make of it.

Miller's on the IL. No idea the extent of the injury, but it's worth noting.

Looks like Vierling is going to start his rehab in Toledo this weekend.  Will be interesting on who he replaces on the 26 man.

This is great news.

I put my dime on Malloy.  He needs regular ABs to get going again and he won't be missed in the field.

[Emily Waldon of Tigers Minor League Report] Source: Tigers Matt Vierling has met Toledo on the road in Worcester. Being told he’ll get a few days of conditioning and is planning to DH Sunday to begin his rehab assignment.

She is such a bad writer, and probably just lifted that from McCosky.

No matter what anyone posts about her it gets met with hate. So weird.... You don't like her thats fine but why chime in everytime?
