I think AMTRAK would save more than a cheap rental.

I've done the Amtrak trip to Chicago a few times. It's worth more when you consider the expense of parking in that crowded city. And to just kick back and relax never gets old...lol

Navigating the CWS lineup is probably easier than most so anything you give them is bad, but he only gave up 2 runs.   The navigating trouble part of this was probably more on bad CWS performance than Mize and/or Rogers' brilliance.

I was listening to the game on my phone and it was the 4th inning.  Then I go down to watch TV and it's the 6th inning.  Modern technology is amazing.  It's like a time machine.  Unfortunately, the Tigers are losing 2-0 either way.

We need to have better discretion about when to take extra bases. We just can’t do that willy-nilly like Wenceel just did.

It was almost like he tried to deke the outfielder into thinking he was stopping. Like a fake out. He was out by a mile!

That and having to deal with I80/94, not to mention the price of the Skyway and dealing with crazy folks on the Dan Ryan.

We drove once, before my son moved there. I said, never again. Since then, we flew once and took the train 3 times. I'll never drive there again.

This whole aggressive baserunning strategy of the Tigers’ has to be retooled.

There's a huge difference between being aggressive and making baserunning mistakes. Perez and Keith made mistakes, I'm not sure what Keith was doing rounding third. Was Cora sending him?

you have to accept that you are going to make the occasional out if you run the bases aggressively because occasionally the other team will make the perfect play. But that's what it should take. What you should never see are easy outs - those are always screw-ups.
