The Giants have a loaded defensive line. I’m not sure that’s the game you rest offensive linemen.

This is one of those rare games I can watch because it’s on NBC Peacock instead of Fox, which only lets me watch games in the West locally. It’s nice on occasion to be included in what is important to all the rest of you.

I hope the Lions don’t screw the pooch and disappoint me.

Talent-wise these teams are equally matched, but the Eagles haven’t looked good against a good opponent since September. Ten points won’t cut it against the Lions. Add onto that the Eagles have a short week coming off a cold, physical game.

Coaching wise, Nick Sirianni looked absolutely clueless in the 4th quarter against the Packers. I’ve never seen Campbell, or any of his coordinators, make a series of such boneheaded decisions. Lions need to minimize mistakes, and fix whatever is going on with special teams, and I think they come out of this with a win.

I don't see this as a should win game at all. No doubt that Sirianni made one of the worst calls in NFL history with that egregious 4th down call against Green Bay but this is the defending Superbowl Champs with a loaded roster that knows how to play big games so this will be the hardest game of the season for the Lions to win IMO. They definitely can win because they are also loaded with talent but they've struggled all season against physical teams on the road so this one has me nervous.

I've mellowed a little with the injury report.

I still think they ought to win this game. I think Philly is a basket case ready to blow. They're talented, but there are too many personalities and they're too poorly coached. If the Lions play their A game, they'll win.

That said, I will no longer say they should win this game in the same way they should beat the Giants or should have beat the Vikings.

I can’t speak for the Pistons, but the Lions pulling out a tush push would be on brand.
