buddha Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago keep caleb in the pocket and he'll make a mistake. **** the bears! lolol. go paint your nails, caleb. Quote
lordstanley Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago McVay is totally wired in the post-game. I don’t think I’ve heard a coach talks so fast. Quote
sagnam Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Bears had a good run. Only time will tell if their FO is going to keep young talent coming in. Ben Johnson will be a good play caller no matter what. Also time will tell if he can split his focus and keep the team together and focused. Quote

They have a 15 year, multi-Super Bowl run with Tom Brady and now they're likely going back in less than a decade. Meanwhile, we're sitting at home not even in the playoffs yet again. Some fans have it sooooooooooo good. Unbelievable. yeah - Pretty good when your old management takes Brady, then a generation later it turns over and your new management picks Maye, another big drop back passer who is already at top of the stat sheets in his 2nd yr. GalagaGuy Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I have no love for the Bears but I really don't want to see the Rams win a second Super Bowl with Stafford before we get to one with Goff. Quote

Curious if we think he is the reason the Lions lost in the NFC championship game. I can’t say that. I missed the Washington game, was busy getting engaged overseas and then didn’t bother watching once I knew the outcome. This Bears team played above their heads all season. They are totally due for a regression. But he did a great job of making a running game out of this garbage OL and mid RBs. He made Caleb Williams look serviceable. The Lions would have ran away with the division if he was still here. I just don’t get the hate. i’m also glad he’s not our HC. I think his shtick is going to wear thin quickly. Quote

GalagaGuy Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago DJ Moore wasn't catching this ball but I think he at least keeps it from being picked if he gives a damn. Quote

I’m indifferent to him now. But I agree that with his villain schtick he is going to fall hard. His departure turns out to have been a devastating loss. It didn’t necessarily have to be but Dan/Brad did not take his departure seriously enough. With a competent OC, I have no doubt Detroit would have won one or two more games and squeaked into the playoffs where they would have had a chance against a weak field. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted 7 minutes ago Author Posted 7 minutes ago It feels like Ben is on the trajectory of Brian Daboll. Next big thing offensively, but not a great game manager or people person. Daboll went 9-7-1 with a playoff win, then 6-11, then 3-14, then 2-8 and fired. Johnson may not go 3-14 in two years, but I think below 0.500 sounds right for the Bears next season. Now watch the Bills hire Daboll back. Quote
