Isn’t stiffing contractors one of the things red hats love about Trump? Must be since he is perfect and everything he does is also perfect.

Alan Greenspan died. One of the worst Federal Reserve Chairs in the history of this country. Greenspan, among many others, helped usher in an era of bubbles, deregulation, risky derivatives, speculative trading, short selling, and loose currency. He is one of the bad actors who helped shape both the dot com bubble and The Great Derivatives Crisis of 2008-2009. I have nothing nice to say about Alan Greenspan and the working people of this country would have been better off financially had he never been Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank.

Damn Illegals...

Quote

All officers are ordered to the frontiers, to be treated as prisoners of war; privates will be scattered among families in the middle counties where they will work for wages; seamen will be offered berths in the colony's armed ships. Women and children can remain with their families.

for context, the SPR level on 6/12 (as per the US EIA) was 340Mbbl. US consumption is ~20Mbbl/day, so there are about 4 days US supply in the SPR assuming a safe floor of 250Mbbl. Or one day's world production.

Keep in mind Hillary had Tulsi pegged long ago and Sanders rushed out to defend his friend.

That tracks-Jill Stein has always been left of center (I knew her from ecology groups), but 2015/2016 is about the time she really seemed to go off the deep end.

One of the most alarming cases I've seen is of Calla Walsh, who started out as a teen supporter of Markey and later, under the influence of a groomer, became a radical Communist/anti-Israel activist.

here is a weird angle on this Tulsi story... Megan McCain is very much defending her.   Weird that I thought John McCain might have been a Manchurian Candidate back in the day when i was pro-W.   She's married to some weirdo who is heavily in the RW media environment.

One of the greatest moral and societal crimes of the 21st century has been the rehabilitation of the legacy of former President George. W. Bush. I recently saw a video in which George W. Bush attended the grand opening of the Barack Obama Presidential library. To see prominent leaders and figures like Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and others participate in his rehabilitation sickens me.

Would you rehabilitate the image of some of the great war criminals of our time Benito Mussolini or Pol Pot? No, you likely wouldn't. So stop doing it for one of the world's other genocidal monsters, George W. Bush.

Tens of millions of Africans would argue that he kept them alive.   His balance sheet is not completely red.

Honestly, I am surprised that these Trump people who show up before Congressional committee don't all shout down congressional reps, ignore pleas to allow reps to keep the floor, and just generally create a circus out of the atmosphere, in an ongoing bid to delegitimize and eventually destroy the entire congressional hearings process. I am also surprised I have not seen these Trump people make a loud show of storming out mid-hearing. After all, their obvious goal is to destroy government as we know it, and these hearings are government as we know it, so why they don't do that all the time, I don't know. Not sure what they're trying to preserve by following even a single rule.
