IdahoBert Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Jack Flaherty is the starting pitcher. Isn’t he “due” for a good game? I mean, just by the law of averages an occasional bounce back to actually be good is statistically possible. In the post game Dan Dickerson was playing up how much Jack likes pitching for the home crowd etc. etc… I would like that. Quote

With the injury to Mize and JV maybe washed up, we're stuck with Jack all summer. So yeah, I hope he doesn't have an implosion inning, like usual. It's really mysterious, how he can just suddenly lose it. And there's usually no warning. Keep the BP warmed up and ready to go...Flaherty should have a very short leash. Quote

IdahoBert Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I so loved Willie Horton that I named my tiger striped cat - who was allowed to be an outdoor cat because we were like that back then - and when I came home from school one day in probably 1965 I received the sad news that Willie had been hit by a car and had died because he was playing in the fall leaves on Jackson Street in Auburn Indiana. I was heartbroken. 2 Quote

IdahoBert Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Wow, the trimmed back, cut rate, Detroit Sportsnet pregame show even at home is only 10 minutes long. Meh, pregame shows are pretty much BS anyway. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Jack gives up a lead off single so the tedium of worrying about a no-hitter is off the shelf at least, thank God. And Perez robs a home run from the next batter probably given that the fences have been lowered enough for that to become common place Quote
IdahoBert Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Jack gave up only one run in the inning so if he goes five innings and gives up only five runs and we get six runs we’ll win - that is if our relievers can hold the powerful, powerful Rangers offense to only five runs. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I’m distressed that Marcus Semien is no longer with the Texas Rangers, so I can’t make childish remarks about his name. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 2nd was a better inning from Jack but his FB velo sucks. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Tork failed to barrel up a middle middle FB but salvaged a walk. Quote
