IdahoBert Posted yesterday at 07:19 PM Posted yesterday at 07:19 PM I’m beginning to think that we may not have six players and our bat boy going to the All-Star game this year. Quote
ben9753 Posted yesterday at 07:26 PM Posted yesterday at 07:26 PM well, at least we wont get swept by the worst team in the AL. Wait, is that us? Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted yesterday at 07:27 PM Posted yesterday at 07:27 PM I guess Riley's hot streak is over. Quote
IdahoBert Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM At least someone scored 6+ runs today… Quote
SoCalTiger Posted yesterday at 07:49 PM Posted yesterday at 07:49 PM So we kept Vanesco instead of Seabold who someone actually wanted ? I guess we can now let him go ? Quote
kdog Posted yesterday at 07:49 PM Posted yesterday at 07:49 PM the Tigers are not going to admit defeat for a month and a half..but it's over. Quote

RatkoVarda Posted yesterday at 08:06 PM Posted yesterday at 08:06 PM I think Hinch is one of the best managers in baseball and I would not argue if you said he was the best, and I don't think firing him changes the course of this lost season, and I do not think they find a better manager if they let him go but the results absolutely suck, and more importantly, they are not putting up much of a fight, and they not playing particularly well in any phase of the game - that's on Hinch I don't know what happened, but the team seems lost Quote

tiger2022 Posted yesterday at 08:14 PM Posted yesterday at 08:14 PM Ladies and gentlemen, your 2026 Detroit Tigers brought to you by Scott Harris. Quote
tiger2022 Posted yesterday at 08:16 PM Posted yesterday at 08:16 PM There are reports out there that Hinch has lost the locker room, just like he did in Arizona and Houston. Who would have thought a smug, smartest guy in the room, blames the players when they lose and when they win claims they did so because the players bought into HIS system wouldn't sit well with actual baseball players? 1 Quote

Winston Churchill was one of the World's great wartime leaders, he was a disaster as a peacetime politician. Or you get a management synergy: Sparky Anderson with Roger Craig was a better combination than Sparky without him. I remember when the Tiger brought in Ralph Houk expressly to manage a turn around - then he retired before they started getting good. Quote
