No wonder Andy, Jason and Daniella don't invite him to do fun things. Quote

When Petry was a kid, he had a choice of working on his pitching or working on his funny. I don’t blame him for his choice. 1 Quote

If anyone has watched the rain delay questions segment, Petry is at the end of the phot introductions and is the only one with a nickname tagged to him. I think he has a role among the group as the comic foil, or something along those lines. Quote

romad1 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago How is gametime weather looking? Tigers need a retractable roof. Not because of fears of the weather but because it will express dominance over it. Quote
oblong Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Today is "florida weather". Hot, muggy, with a chance of flash storms. Don't see a washout though. Maybe a delay, especially if there's lightning. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago In August 1988, my wife and I drove from Idaho to Detroit to visit some native Detroiters who’d spent a few years in Idaho then moved back. The humidity was beyond anything I could remember, even in Northeast Indiana where I’d grown up. I quickly learned that taking a dip in their swimming pool would cool down my core body temperature for the day and make the heat tolerable, but on the days when I didn’t do that, it was true suffering. Got to see Jack Morris spin a 3–0 CG shut out of the Rangers at Tiger Stadium, the first game I’d seen there since the 5th game of the World Series in 1968. 1 Quote

I remember it well. I played baseball in a travel league and also had soccer practices that started in mid august. It was rough. I had a paper route and recall one day with the headline “104” which was the temp the day before 1 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Looks like it should clear up by 9:30 or so. I dont wanna start and burn Melton by a long delay. Quote
IdahoBert Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Just as well. My son and I are going to see Backrooms at the local completely refurbished and updated Regal on $6 Tuesday. He’s already seen it and he’s worried that I’m too much of a pussy to deal with it. I’ll show him! …. 😗 this game should be starting just about the time we’re getting out. Quote

IdahoBert Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago For the next 10 days in Boise, Idaho, the weather is supposed to be sunny and in the 70° - 80° range with 24% humidity and light winds making it feel cooler… Just sayin’…. Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Right now it’s not raining at the park but the employees are talking about them evacuating the stands for shelter in place. Dunno if this one is happening Quote
