chasfh Posted August 14 Posted August 14 I might normally be very nervous about this series, but with the momentum we have had for 2-1/2 months now, i feel really good about our direction overall, and even losing two would not be debilitating—although getting swept would be devastating. So a win off the bat tonight would take a lot of pressure off. This is one of those series where the potential swing based on the outcome is humongous. Come Monday morning, we could be as much as up 1/2 game, or as much as down 5-1/2 games. 1 Quote

oblong Posted August 14 Posted August 14 most anticipated game at Comerica Park since the playoffs last year Quote
DTroppens Posted August 14 Posted August 14 It has felt like a playoff race a little bit for awhile, but if the Tigers can get to above .500 that's going to take it to a higher level. It just feels like a different level when we are finally dealing with winning records. This is more fun now than any time of the season. 2 Quote

We get two home series next week with TB and then the Dodgers, so yeah it’d be big to at least win this series to give us some breathing room in case we take a few Ls next week. Quote

IdahoBert Posted Friday at 06:55 PM Posted Friday at 06:55 PM Looks like Max Clark is the “lead off batter“ at the bottom of the order, stacking the deck for Torres, Dingler, McGonigle and Valencia. Quote
