I'm not red-green, and I can see reds... but I can recognize 0% of any shades of red, 70% green... I can't see red-on-black or vice versa unless the font size is so large that I can... Not kidding when I say I feel for ya'... Quote

IdahoBert Posted Tuesday at 02:54 AM Posted Tuesday at 02:54 AM I’ll admit, I lost faith, and stopped watching to depilate my chest hair with a rusty bedspring just to take my mind off of it. But Sommers and Jansen closed it out easy peasy. I should have more faith. Ouch! Quote

That doesn’t excite me though. The Tigers have done that the last couple of years. I don’t even really like the idea of there being a 3rd wildcard. A division title, even with 84 or 85 wins, would seem more legit. So that’s still my target, even though far fetched after this past weekend. I won’t turn down a wildcard spot if it comes to that, but doesn’t make me jump up and down. Quote

I don't care about the White Sox. Not going to follow them. I just want the Tigers to keep winning... the rest will take care of itself. Now... if it's mid-September and they are within a few games of each other... I might start paying attention to that again. In my mind... that'll save me a whole lot of angst worrying about what the White Sox, are, or aren't, doing. It's more important, IMO, what the Tigers are doing anyways... Just my 2 cents. 1 Quote

Neither one excites me that much with 84 wins. They really don't deserve to be in he playoffs this year. However, they've got a good group of young position players to follow and a playoff race to make it interesting. Quote
papalawrence Posted Tuesday at 03:12 AM Posted Tuesday at 03:12 AM CWS and Cubs to extras. Cubs scored 1 in bottom of 9th and had bases loaded with 1 out and failed to walk it off Quote

As Dan Dickerson has been saying for a month, the Tigers’ first job is getting above .500. After that can start considering playoff spots and scoreboard watching. 1 Quote

I’m more into the drama and spectacle of the game. I just love seeing these young new guys play like fierce, hungry bulldogs and live the dream they’ve been working towards their entire lives. That’s worth the price of admission. Worrying about the Chicago freaking White Sox is way down at the bottom of my to do list. 1 Quote

I'd send him to spent the winter ball with no other assignment but to become a better fielder - at any position he can.Maybe go to winter ball. Quote
SoCalTiger Posted Tuesday at 05:23 AM Posted Tuesday at 05:23 AM If Colt has trade value he should be moved. He simply can not play in the field. Seriously he should play winter ball in the outfield corners. He runs well enough and we are used to noodle arm outfielders. Quote
