Not even 1.5 years into a tear down rebuild and people are jumping off the ledge.

Eagles 4-11

Jets 2-14

Bengals 4-11

Lions 5-11

Falcons 4-12

Jags 1-15

Broncos 5-11

49ers 6-10.

Those were the other teams and their records in 2020 who finished last in their division. Exactly one of those 8 is currently in last place in their dvision. (5 of 8 are tied for first)

Except for the Falcons, none of them traded their franchise QB after 2020 and only the Falcons and Broncos hired a new front office in 2021.

I know they were not on the above list, but the Giants fired everyone, coaching and front office. Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen take over as Coach and GM. In 5 games under their regime, with Daniel Jones at QB, they are now 4-1. What a difference component coaching can make.

A) Thats not true. Unless we don't think the best QBs in Falcons history count (or are you just saying that were were teh only ones to trade it after 2020? Cause then its oddly esoteric and not sure what the hell point you're trying to make.)

B) Why should that matter? They all had garbage rosters. The jags went thought one of the worst coach hires of all time and still aren't as trash as we currently are. Trading the QB was supposed to kick start it with extra picks. But it didn't. INstead of holding them accountable for it. You just excuse it as well they had to do a complete rebuild. It's the NFL not MLB. Those 7 other teams did it in 16 months.

Sure I didn't need the Lions to be a super bowl competitor this year. But, its year 2 now. The other 7 garbage teams from when we started have all turned it around somewhat or at least shown promise. We are still garbage. We scored some points against blah teams and are the only one not out of the cellar currently.

Well, when you regress what do you expect?

I said at the beginning of the season that I wanted to see improvement on the whole and didn't care as much about wina as long as guys looked better week in and out. After today's implosion, I'm struggling to see who exactly looks better? St. Brown, Sewell, Rodriguez . . . Who else? Okudah looked like it at first but is regressing. Jared Goff had a nice start but did not look good at all today.

Where is the improvement from guys?

A) WTF are you talking about? I said except for the Falcons. They traded their franchise QB in Matt Ryan.

B) It matters because Patricia and Quinn left a terrible roster. It doesn't turn over that quickly and they were forced to trade their best player. It's simply not true all those teams had garbage rosters. The 49ers were in the Super Bowl the year before 2020 and the Eagles in 2018 so WTF are you talking about garbage rosters? The Broncos also had a good roster but needed a QB and are still 2-3. The Lions still haven't even gotten all the picks from the Stafford trade yet so how can you even say it didn't?

Sorry i missed the first part

And you're right a bunch of last place teams all had great rosters. That's why they are in last. Also the eagles were apprently in the superbowl but also in last in 2020.

Jags Jets Falcons all had outstanding rosters in 2020. Just great. They were the envy of the league in 2020.

Now, let's talk about the fact you ignroed the Jags coaching system from last year. The fact you ignroed the Giants changed everybody. That the jets hired a coach when we did. The eagles changed thier QB instead of running with the marignal guy they used to have. They have all show progress this year and we are 1-4 with a roster still desperate for even marginal talent.

You talk about the picks we haven't gotten from the stafford trade. But, what about the ones we did. The trade was supposed to jump start the rebuild with both extra picks and cap space. We havne't seen the fruits of any of that. In fact, the main pick we have used from Stafford trade so far hasn't even played.

You can just excuse everything given where the roster was in 2020. The rest of us know where the roster was too. We knew it wasn't gonna be a one year turnaround. But, also we can go why the hell did every other team who was awful when we started this rebuild find a way to get better meanwhile we are heading for a top 3 pick yet again?

THen again, we also knew Stafford and Goff wasn't the same so we probably started with a leg up too. Much like those other 7 garbage teams from 2020 apparently

When the season ends, it doesn't matter if they lose 45 to 42 or 45 to 0. A loss is a loss. We play against the other team and the officials. Now we have to make up for Campbell's bonheaded coaching. Too much to overcome. What's it take to get fired around here?

Ask Matt Millen that.

It's over.  Going for a Top 3 draft pick now.

Coach is probably finished.

They made Matt Patricia look good

Fuck this team

Go Bills!

Any city desperate for a football team............take this one.   Not having a team would be better than another 30 years of this.

London Lions always had a ring to it.

Well, there is good news today.

Tigers fired their Scouting Director (YES YES YES) and we didn't lose any Red Wings to a season-long injury.............yet.

Another scouting director was fired today? I know we fired one yesterday …

And what about the curse of the 2nd round pick

2022 - Josh Paschal - hasn't played yet

2021 - Levi Onwuzurike  - hasn't played this season

2020 - D'Andre Swift - good, but always hurt with probably a short career

2019 - Jhalani Tavai - Yep

2018 - Kerryon Johnson  - D'Andre Swift Sr.

2017 - Teez Tabor -  no.......words.......they should've sent a poet

2016 - A'Shawn Robinson -  Won a Super Bowl - with the Rams after he was declared not good enough here

2015 - Ameer Abdulla - never developed into much

2014 - Kyle Van Noy - Didn't know how to use him, let him go, then he got good

2013 - Darius Slay - Holy fucking shit, they hit one and then drove him away by humiliating him

2012 - Ryan Broyles - Injured in college, took him anyway, 32 career catches

2011 - Titus Young & Mikel Leshoure - One went crazy the other one loved weed more than football

2010 - Didn't have a pick, thank God.

2009 - Louis Delmas -  Hey, a broken clock is right twice a day!

2008 - Jordon Dizon -   Couldn't even spell Jordan right

2007 - Drew Stanton, Ikaika Alama-Francis & Gerald Alexander -  O FOR THREE !!!!!

2006 - Daniel Bullocks   - As the Brits would say  BOLLOCKS !

2005 - Shaun Cody - Well at least he showed up

2004 - Teddy Lehman  - Had the nerve to wear Spielman's number

2003 - Boss Bailey -  Hugo Boss would have been better

2002 - Kalimba Edwards - He actually played which puts him near the top of the list here

2001 - Dominic Raiola & Shaun Rogers -  Both were placeholders

2000 - Barrett Green - Sounds like the name of a Motown songwriter.  At least he played

1999 -  Had no Grade Point Average.  All Classes Incomplete

1998 - Germain Crowell & Charlie Batch - Crowell didn't know to run out of bounds with the clock running out and Batch, well, he was actually a steal in the 2nd round.

1997 - Juan Roque & Kevin Abrams.  Got to hang with Juan, great guy but played only 17 career games.  Kevin Abrams almost doubled that

1996 & 1995 - No 2nd round pick

1994 - Van Malone.    ♫ Do the hustle ♫......oh, sorry that was Van McCoy, who was just as good.

1993 - Ryan McNeil -  Had a decent career.  must have been accidental

1992 - Tracy Scroggins & Jason Hanson.  - A kicker in the 2nd round?   And he is the best player on this list !

That covers how many regimes?    It's freaking incredible.
