Maybe if we just get Aipac to give all their money directly to Israel they'd be out of our politics. Another reason we need an amendment for CU.

I do not want to see ADB traded. At least not in the off-season.This is a team that, despite having several empty jerseys, was in contention for a playoff spot until the very end. Some of those jerseys will be filled with better players next season. obviously, Larkin’s will not.as far as Larkin’s replacement goes, I am still holding out for an established an NHL center (or high-end young prospect) with a mix of prospects or draft picks. Run it back to the trade deadline next season and see how things look. If ADB does not want an extension at that point, trade him at the deadline. Trade Faulk too. but if you are Stevie, you have to see how much of the culture issue was related to Larkin.

I still think the best course of action is to just play the season and let TT find out Sorsby isn't that good. Not sure anything can be done about already scheduled games. Maybe the contracts for the game has a buyout. But you can't sue Michigan State and force them to schedule TT in the future.

True. It could even be pressure he feels like he has to produce to get playing time. And I still say he has a better chance getting a hit off a LH pitcher than Jones does PH for him. Jones is something like 1 for 28 in his last 28 at bats. Something horrid... -
In the two years since October 7th attacks the US has sent and spent nearly $32 billion on one country and one country alone. Not $32 billion adding dental coverage to Medicare, providing free reading glasses to low-income folks, or having universal pre-k or free lunches for kids. No, we've spent $32 billion propping up a despot, wannabe dictator and fighting a war on his behalf in Iran and supporting his broader combat offences in Lebanon and Yemen. A person who attempted to misuse power to stay in office through his judicial branch. A person who killed tens-of-thousands of civilians in a genocide, people who had nothing to do with the October 7th attacks themselves. That's why people care and decide their vote on it. Just as they did during the 2006 midterms when the Iraq War catastrophe happened.

I'd probably do this given the two 1st round picks + Stramel. But I don't know that Minnesota has their 1st this year, so we'd be getting a 27 and 28 1st. I'd rather get more capital for now and next eyar. Wings, Wild, Sharks. A trade the assures the rebuild of the rebuild gets started. Too little? Too much? Wings Get: 2026 #2 and #20 overall picks from San Jose + 2027 1st round pick from Minnesota + Charlie Stramel/C and Lirim Amidovskil/RW from Minnesota Wild Get: Dylan Larkin Sharks Get: Alex DeBrincat

Probably the only one to consider, but still a no. Knicks defense has been great against San Antonio. The Spurs are averaging 12 points per/100 less than the regular season. They are holding SA to less points than OKC did, who had the best defense in the league this year. Knicks are struggling on offense and while Hart isn't exactly a scorer, his career 35% from three is a better option for them right now.

I'd hate to believe that Hinch's handling has broken his confidence as a hitter, but of course it's possible. The other likely candidate is pressure he felt over the lack of HR even though he was being productive in April. -
Took me way too long to realize "dog" was being used as a negative there, confused the hell out me

RBI are somewhat dependent on having base runners. Keith started out on fire this year, for a bit he was one of our hottest hitters. Then the genius started platooning him and he's been in a slump. Not blaming Hinch, it's Keith not knowing if he'll play 3rd base, be a DH or on the bench from game to game. Some players need more stability. -

He hit a couple a long way last night, but I still think watching him that his hips are gone too soon, his lower body is done - too far in front of the rest of his swing - before it can help impart any power to his swing. This is something he came up with in the off season and it hasn't worked. I don't know what the guide line in hitting is for how long you stick with something you believe is going to be better hoping it comes around vs pulling the plug but at this point he's getting worse. He finished April with a very respectable 761 OPS, and a great OBP, even if without any HR, but since the 1st week in May he's just collapsed - OPS=473, (he and Tork both going in the tank in early May a big factor in the team's offensive collapse along with losing Glyber & Javy. Tork has pretty much recovered, Keith has not). Either the pitchers have found weaknesses in what he is doing now or hebis trying to modify things on the fly for more power and he's just stuck in no-man's land - who knows? But it's bad and still getting worse. -
ausar if the knicks were smart. i'd start him over josh hart.

Other than Cade, would any Pistons start for New York or San Antonio?

I can’t help but think there are better options than Colt Keith somewhere in this system. No HRs and 7 RBI against right handed pitching in 180 at bats? Who could possibly do worse? Is there never anybody on base in front of this guy? Whatever instruction the guy is receiving, has it destroyed him? I know other guys in baseball are sucking too, but man, it’s pretty deep into the season. What am I missing here? -
Does this say more about Thomas or about Detroit’s scouts?
