the only deal for mcdavid we could make would start with seider. edmonton is not dealing him to detroit for all the reasons stated above. edmonton wants to win a cup next year, i dont think theyre dealing their core for prospects. maybe darnell nurse if you want to part with edvinsson. they might deal ike howard, but likely for an established goalie. and then mcdavid will leave for san jose or anaheim or toronto.

2 earned runs in this game. But it's the consistency that is most alarming. Is he going to give up 5 runs in the 3rd inning in his next start? Consistently is the key.

Yeah, I grabbed that deal last season too. But I didn't catch that it was automatic renewal, so they charged me the full amount for this season. Oh well, it's just another streaming TV charge, but one I use much more than most others. I watch several games, the last couple of innings. Especially the walkoffs.

Ausar wouldn't get any back cuts on Harden if Harden doesn't come above the FT line. If he runs baseline Harden just stands on the block and takes it away, he doesn't even have to move. I would argue Mobley fading towards Cade and with one eye on him is more susceptible to a back cut than Harden just looking at Thompson. The second paragraph doesn't really matter. If Harden is on the court any player he guards can set a screen for Cade. The fact they didn't have Harris set ball screens all night might be a good question for JB.

The more I think about it I can’t see a deal to be made with the Oilers. I don’t think they’re giving up any of their core this offseason. Their prospects suck. I don’t see how it makes sense for both teams. It could make sense to deal McDavid now or something but I can’t imagine Bowman will. So I imagine the Oilers will want to keep the NHL team as strong as possible. I’m probably wrong but I just couldn’t figure out a trade that made sense looking at their assets.

I don’t see why he put out a statement at all. The entire statement is intended to downplay it as a silly mistake by a great guy that someone took the wrong way. People will draw their own conclusions anyways, so why not just “I sent an offensive text that has resulted in my termination. I apologize to the recipient, the Tigers organization, and my family for doing so”.

McDavid wants a Cup. He doesn’t want his new team to be gutted. Otherwise he won’t accept it. He will wait 2 years and leave for nothing to a new team that loses no assets except cash and cap space. As awesome as he is, this drives his value down

Thanks. That’s good of you and that’s how I got it cheap last year but I don’t think they’re offering me that deal this time, to me at least. I had to re-up for $139.99 and what they’re telling me right now is that I’m not eligible for these kind of discounts this time and I think they’ve gotten better at closing the loopholes.
