  1. I would prefer that the arm barn thing is quickly put out to pasture.

  2. goff really is one of the worst qbs i've ever seen. i want an apology from the "he led a team to the super bowl he's not that bad" crowd. i mean, step up! stop turning around and running backwards when you get pressure on the edge! youre walking yourself into multiple sacks. i know blough isnt any better, but come on. at least maybe he can roll out a bit. enough of goff. time to bench him.

  4. holy cow, deshawn hand has been activated! but don't worry, there are still 12 hours or so for him to pick up a vicious hang nail and go back on IR.

  5. I said at the start of the season that I wasn't going to be hard or overly critical on Campbell or this regime because of how new everyone was and how awful this roster was. That said, Campbell has made a number of troubling coaching mistakes and outright blunders. Anyone beginning to question his coaching IQ isn't really wrong because he hasn't given fans a whole lot of reason to think otherwise.

  6. Nothing is going to happen to Trump ever. There is a different criminal "justice" system for the rich and powerful.

  7. I regularly read up on obscure defense blogs and watch various youtube videos on Chinese and Russian weapons systems. I always think that the most effective weapons Russia has are their trolls and prostitutes (particularly the kind that do wet shows) and China's best weapon are their cargo container ships with a bunch of crap we could make in this country but don't because the toothless and ignorant won't insist we build it here.

  10. Taking the ball when you win the coin toss is an automatic loss. Lions will for sure lose. Thought this would be the one, ah well.

  13. As I have come to realize that the pandemic is in its death throes, I’m definitely starting to get more perturbed by the mask mandate. I’ll still wear it if I’m required to, but I’ll cheat more now where I wouldn’t have before (e.g., mask under nose). I mean, I am double-vaxxed, so really, come on. I went to a play last month, and am going to another next month, where there is is both a requirement to be vaxxed (and conclusively prove it), and to wear a mask at all times. I think that’s just madness. If we’re all vaxxed and there’s no danger to anyone, what’s the mask for, again? Optics? Virtue-signaling? Liability? Regardless, I am definitely mask-cheating when I go next month.

  14. I agree with you on Javy’s tools, and the potential they provide for him to make an impact. But after having watched him pretty closely for several years, i can tell you that Javy also has what used to be called a ten-cent head. He lets his emotions get the better of him too often and it does sometimes affect his play on the field. Just this year he lost track of the number of outs while he was on base and got himself doubled up to end the inning. He also has a hero complex that leads him to swing for the fences when just getting on base would be enough. All you have to do as a pitcher in those situations is throw the ball a foot off the plate and Javy will get himself out. He’s also a guy who will carry a grudge and will act out that grudge on the field. You can ask Amir Garrett about that. All that said, and in spite of his flaws, he’s been a 5-6 win player over the past few seasons. If he comes to Detroit and AJ can baby him the way he needs to be, Javy Baez could be a 5-win player for the Tigers for another three, four, maybe more, seasons. You’ll love love love him when he’s going great, and you’ll cringe when he’s struggling. But believe me when I tell you this: you will be entertained.

  17. The 4th and 4 conversion from the 29 late in the 3rd quarter was a great throw and great catch. Michigan gets a stop and I think they would have soon turned a 16 pt leas into 19 or 23 soon after and that would have been all she wrote. The final interception was so skilled too. Up until that very moment I still expected Michigan to win.

  20. Yeah. Why didn’t the victim arm herself? Seems we need more guns on movie sets now to prevent this.

  21. Amazing that the same people couldn't have cared less that 6 year olds were slaughtered are suddenly all about gun safety because it might give them the opportunity to pin it on an actor who mocked the person they worship.
