Campbell definitely deserves some criticism and there is definitely no excusing that blunder late in the game but people like me that defend him aren't so much saying he is great but are just trying to point out that everything bad that happens on the field isn't the coaches fault like some of you seem to think. Its like you put zero responsibility on an NFL player when they hold instead you blame it on the freaking coaches. Seriously? These are professional athletes, they know the rules and what is and isn't allowed, sometimes you get away with it other times you don't. Team has a false start, lets blame it on Campbell, like he is the one out there jumping the snap. Do you expect him to hold the players hand during the game or seomthing? A player blows a tackle, yep that's on Campbell again according to you guys. Let's not blame the millionaire athlete that has been playing football his entire life for not tackling correctly, instead it's the coaches fault. This team has far and away the least amount of talent in football, it isn't even close, particularly when you factor in the QB yet instead of blaming those guys you put all the onus on the coaching. If the coaches mean so much maybe teams should just stop signing expensive players or drafting high instead just trade down and collect middle round picks that don't cost much and coach them up to be good since that is what you all think the coach is supposed to do anyway.

What matters most to me is player development. We have a young core of guys that is likely to be here for the next 3-4-5+ seasons and I want to see them getting better game by game. Not to be overly critical of Campbell just yet, but if he and his staff are putting them in bad spots in games or running poor practices that hinder player development, that's a problem. That means the 2-3-4 years they did spend with Campbell as their coach will have been wasted.

You have no evidence of widespread voter fraud. None! For you to suggest "how many times they voted" shows clear and defined ignorance of how votes are tallied and how municipal and county clerks do their jobs. You aren't allowed to use phrases like "how many time they voted" when you can't produce any evidence of widespread mail in or absentee voter fraud. Try again there, only next time, come armed with research.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Vegas puts into consideration things like Michigan's record against OSU the last 18 years or Harbaugh's record against them. I believe they just look at things in a vacuum based off the stats and matchups and by advanced metrics while OSU is definitely superior to Michigan the spread isn't that huge. Like OSU is 2nd in SP+ and College football FPI(equivalent to BPI and RPI in basketball) while Michigan is 4th. The difference between the two is about 30%, while that sounds like a lot for reference that is the difference between Michigan and the number 13 team in that metric Notre Dame and if Michigan were to play at ND they certainly wouldn't be favored by by anymore than OSU is this game. Also in metrics like points differential per drive again OSU is 2nd and Michigan is 5th and again the margin is about 30% and again for reference Michigan is about 30% than teams like ND, Oklahoma ST and Oregon. One more thing for reference going into last week MSU was around 15th in all these stats where as Michigan was still in the top 5 which is a big reason why the committee still had UM ahead of them despite the head to head loss. To sum it up, in Vegas' eyes just pretend the team isn't Michigan but instead say a team similar to Michigan in the metrics like Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Notre Dame or Cincinnati, if OSU were to go on the road to face them how much would they favor them by? I don't think it would be a whole lot more than the spread of this game but since OSU has demolished UM recently fans think it should be alot more despite the fact that majority of the players playing Saturday weren't even playing in any of those games.

All I know is that as a Detroit sports and Michigan fan it is nice to actually be excited for a sporting event cause it has meaning and not just for seeing a particular young player that may or may not help one of our franchises be good years down the road. As unlikely as a Michigan win would be its nice to just have that hope of winning a big game and possibly competing for a championship. We've had that feeling a couple years ago with Michigan basketball and a couple other times in recent memory with this game but other than that things like this just haven't happened much the past 7 or 8 years in this state so I'm just enjoying the whole lead up to it and hoping to enjoy the game for as long as possible.

how do we know Rose never bet against himself or rigged a game? Because he said so? Why should we believe him when he's lied repeatedly? And a player doesn't have to make a bet against himself to help gamblers. If he bets $10K on the first game but nothing on the second game.... well that's information right there for them to use. He can say he didn't bet against himself but the gamblers that he owes money to could still credit him. Betting on your team to win or lose is indistinguishable. They are the same. He agreed to the maximum punishment which was a permanent ban.

In Bouton's book he played with Morgan in Houston after he was traded there by the Pilots. He referenced a story where Pete Rose was thrown out sliding at the plate.
