I won't have sympathy for people who treat their employees like crap and then complain that "nobody wants to work". It's time employers take responsibility and not expect that they are guaranteed a work force on THEIR terms. With so many job openings out there employees have the upper hand and it's time for bosses and managers to adapt, like employees are always expected to do. A grieving employee owes nothing to an employer when that employee has options. The employer wouldn't think twice about cutting that person loose if they had the upper hand so now the roles are reversed.

Seems odd to me as well. I guess Alpine has a young driver they want to promote next year. Oscar Piastri won the F3 title in 2020 and the F2 title last year. Every time I hear his name I confuse him with Oscar Pistorius. I imagine Alpine hopes he is fast like him but without the murdering.

Regarding the jerseys... I'm 48 and hated them. My son is 21 and he and his friends loved them. He bought one last year and I guess the story is... we're not the demographic they are after anymore. Makes me sad. I'm going out to yell at some clouds now.

Could've put this in the things that make you smile thread but since it involves a dog I'll post it here. My neighbor's dog who I've known since she was a puppy recently had to have her leg amputated due to cancer and naturally she hasn't been herself the last couple weeks. But today when I got home from work she was out in front with my neighbor and she came running(well as close to running as she can do now) over to me wagging her tail like her old self, she and my dog were playing like they used to. My neighbor said she has been doing alot better the last couple days. Just seeing her like that made me smile cause in a way I think of her as my second dog since I take care of her anytime they are out of town.
