They won the must-win game. I think fans would've started to turn on Campbell had they not held on to win. Second half was frustrating, but they did enough right in the first half to cover for it.

I love that this happens to another team. That was such a Lions-esque move!

We will learn a lot about the Lions tomorrow. Good teams can weather these kinds of injuries against mediocre teams.

That's understandable. The Tigers have been drafting, trading, developing, and performing in an apathy-inducing way for about seven years now. I respect diehards and I do consider myself one, but that doesn't necessarily mean committing to living and dying with each game or each season no matter what they do. I think it's OK for our passion to wax and wane based on how seriously the team is competing, to be excited and engaged when they're focused and successful, and apathetic when they look for all the world like they have no idea what they're doing.

I miss the days when I cared enough about the team to bitch and get fired up at decisions like Clete batting 3rd, now I'm so apathetic to the team a decision like that may warrant a shoulder shrug from me and that's it.

Journalists drive me nuts. Inflation was not up 8.3% in August! That is the 12 month number. It was up .1% in August. Yet damn near every article says, "Inflation rose 8.3% in August."
