Rest of the schedule: Bills (7-3) - Bills are the better team... never say never but I'm going to assume a loss. Jaguars (3-7) - Lions should win at home. Vikings (8-2) - It'll be interesting. Can the Lions redeem themselves? I'm going to be pessimistic and same no. @ Jets (6-4) - I think the Lions can win this one. @ Panthers (3-8) - Lions should be able to win. Bears (3-8) - I'll be very disappointed if the Lions don't win. @ Packers (4-7) - Why does it seem like we always play @ GB at the end of the year? Loss. 4-3 the rest of the year is very realistic and of the three losses really only the Bills game is one where I'd feel like we pulled a massive upset. Obviously anything can happen and injuries can effect stuff. Should at least be an entertaining end to the season.3 points

campbell fires lynn and the offense gets better. campbell fires pleasant and the defense gets better. its possible that dan campbell knows football and knows what is or isnt working with his team much better than a bunch of us morons on a sports message board.3 points

I figure we might as well get this started. Some Victor highlights from today.1 point

Chris Ilitch doesn’t know who Jeimer Candelario is. And I am fine with that1 point

This game has large implications for the Lions... Have to think if they manage to pull out a win, they will have somehow have found themselves on an inside track for a wildcard spot in looking at their future opponents. A loss certainly doesn't take them out of consideration, but a win makes a huge statement on a national scale. I want to see a competitive game, and I think we will. MCDC's teams have always seemed to rise to the occasion in games against the best of the NFL, even when they come up short in the end (Eagles this year, Rams and Cardinals last year). I think the spread on this game is astronomical and will come down as the week goes on. It's hard to expect a win over a team that may be the Super Bowl favorite, but let's go out there and fight, see what happens.1 point

Candy is still one of the best short term 3B options out there; from Freep Before cutting ties with Candelario, the Tigers attempted to bring him back at a cheaper rate. It’s unclear if those negotiations will continue,1 point

That's where I am at with him. He never had more than two tackles in any game prior to this and look average against the run. He had a solid game and I hope this is one of many to come. It would allow us to address other needs on defense if McNeill is a real interior presence on this line.1 point

Run double crosses. St Brown on the shallow cross and Williams on the deep cross.1 point

If they go 7-10 this year, it's a successful year, but next year it has to be playoffs, especially if the NFC is still weak.1 point

Well, that was certainly a nice win I'd say. Kind of like buddha in Bears Country, I'm here in Giants/Jets land and was surrounded by Giants fans today so it was nice to stick it to them after today. I don't want to get too excited because...Lions but you just get the feel of a team that is about to turn a corner. Of course it could all blow up this week if the Bills manhandle them but you can see the confidence growing with the young guys and there's plenty of good talent on IR that will help out in the coming weeks/next season so I think some cautious optimism is there to be had which is a major upgrade from the apathy of felt for this organization for way too long. Also, that Rams bean continues to become more magical so... good day indeed.1 point

The Maricopa County Supervisor, named Bill Gates, is now in hiding with police protection because of all the threats he's receiving. He can't go home. By the way, he's a Republican. But he is a Republican with integrity. I know that feels like a rarity these days. Can we just give them all the south and they can have the Confederacy they still crave. We'll just sit back and watch them eat each other. Also, if we do this - 2 major things. They hate the Federal Government, so we'll take all the military bases out and they hate Socialism, so we'll turn that faucet off too. Let's see how well they do then.1 point

Victor is basically a cheat code, barring an injury I don't see anyway he isn't a superstar in the NBA. I know there's some great consolation prizes but that lottery night is going to be a franchise altering night for some team, lets hope it's us.1 point

Other than those three sacks against Washington, Hutchinson got off to a slow start. Sacks can be flukey and he was not having that much impact on the game. Two things have turned around his season. The Lions are using him more like Michigan used him as a stand up edge rusher. And he is not just trying to sack the quarterback every play. You see him containing the zone read, spying the quarterback (if we are facing a mobile quarterback), and dropping into coverage at different times. It's definitely helped the defense improve. He did get burned on at least one qb zone read today but it happens to every edge player occasionally. And Daniel Jones runs it very well.1 point

I have to give Campbell credit, he easily could have lost this team but he has them trending upwards. Pretty disciplined team, not many penalties and they're executing the plays. Impressive win, very impressive.1 point

No wonder nobody trusts the courts anymore. Regardless of their high-profile misses throughout history, they were supposed to be the one institution most dedicated to fairness of jurisprudence.1 point

So Isiah Thomas also responded to that same Tweet that Jaylen Brown responded to in support of Kyrie. Not only did he delete the tweet, he deleted his entire account. https://twitter.com/IsiahThomas To be fair though, Zeke has always been human garbage.0 points
