New proposal. 2 mini seasons of 40 games each between May 1-Jun 15 and Aug 20 and Oct 3. Each winner plays in a 7 game WS from Oct 6-15. No divisions. No leagues. If one team wins both halves then we don't need a world series and can move on to the other sports.

I'm a sucker for good harmonies in music and so I've become a bigger Beach Boys fans as I've gotten older and my musical tastes have matured. Really sad to see Brian Wilson pass and sad I never got to see the original Beach Boys in concert ever.
